Lo que toca Javier Mas en este intro es un Laud, y en mi humilde opinión él es el mas grande maestro de los instrumentos de la mediterrania, como el laud o la bandurria y por supuesto de la guitarra española.

Very beautiful this intro..what kind of music is this? I Would like to find a partiture to play with myguitar, a similar music also, has anyone a suggestion?

@doyle8550 the instrument Javier Mas is playing here is an archlute, the kind of music...well...I suppose it's oriental inspired. It reminds me of the U'd (oud), the Arabic lute. Maybe you can look this up. The difficulty with oriental music is that they don't use the same musical structure as we do, not the same scales or chordal structure. I hope I'm not telling to much nonsense here ;-). I just love the sound of the Oud.

@tishierkrisis Well thk for your answer. Yesterday i was in Florence at Cohen's concert..It was a wounderful performance..I took a close look on Javier Mas lute and it look like an arabic oud..so i think u didn't say nonsense :) Thk again :)
