Besides his great music, Dan's life is a message about checking yourself for cancer. I have family members who have had prostate and breast cancer. It's an equal gender victimizer. That's not to take away from what he did in his all too short life.

Actually, if you go back to the beginning he really had come "full circle" to his roots in country rock. I loved his earlier stuff the most! There was no one better in my estimation!

I love the country flair! Dan could do anything and it sounded fantastic. What a rare talent. I so regret never seeing him perform live.

This is the only DF album I do not have. Ironically called Full Circle. I am comforted to know he had found love with Jean. Dan was a lovely songwriter too : )
