  • Its great to hear Karen try this, this is the other side of Ireland's culture! The Scots Protestant side, & for a'that & a' that, i'm glad we can laugh at each other!

  • Beautiful accompaniment with the cello! She's REALLY listening to both the singer AND the poet who wrote this. Excellent!

  • Sweet and simple -- she had the perfect voice for this song. Beautifully done.

  • Good version of an excellent song

  • Lovely. I first heard Casey on the Highland Sessions. She has a lovely simple voice (simple in the good way).

  • Ae fond kiss and then we se-ver ae fare-well and then for ev-er

deep in heart-wrung tears i'll pledge thee war-ing sighs and groans i'll wage thee

who shall say that fortune grieves him. While the star of hope she leaves him? Me,mae cheerfu' twinkle lights me, Dark despair around benight me. i'll ne'er blame my partial fancy: Naething could resist my Nancy! But to see her was to love her, Love but her, and love for ever.
