MIND = BLOWN. Great lesson. I'm at work right now with flu like symptoms and listening to these vids are helping the day go by alot easier. God bless you and thank you.
Continued.... rather than our own righteousness is an ever renewing lifestyle and mindset... We do, in every way, become new creatures. I want to thank you sincerely for these videos, they are always a blessing. Please look into this some more and give it some good thought. God Bless you brother!
Continued... Now I agree completely that salvation is by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ, but holiness and daily sanctification through Christ is also very important. When people come to Jesus in the end and say, "Lord, did we not prophesy in Your Name? And in Your Name cast out demons? and He will say to them, I never knew you, depart from me YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS" While we are not saved by our works, we do see that the evidence of true faith in God's mercy....
Continued.... words, he lived in sin. We see later that he does not "rule over" this sin, but gives into it by killing his brother. A third thing we see, is when we turn to the book of 1 John, "We should not be like Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own deeds were evil and his brother's righteous." This shows that his deeds were, in fact, evil and his brother lived the opposite way, with his life and its works devoted to God....
You do bring up an interesting point about God accepting and rejecting Cain and Abel's gifts on the basis of what they consisted of (fruit of the ground, and a lamb), but I don't believe that you're right about that... Firstly, we see in places like Leviticus 2 that God did, in fact, accept grain offerings. Secondly, God clearly says to Cain "Why has your face fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted?" God, through His own words, points out that Cain did not do "well" or in other....
The bible is the only way to know God. For a greater understanding of His true nature I found the following scriptures especially helpful: Zechariah 14: 1-2 Deuteronomy 22:28-2 Numbers 31:17-18 Leviticus 25: 44-46 Exodus 21:7 Exodus 21: 20-21 1 Peter 2:18 Jeremiah 19: 9 A must read for all.
Our righteousness, opposed to what is God's righteousness which is His Law: Psalms 119:172 My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.
Our righteousness is what is right to us: self-righteousness other than his law..or even doing good to compensate for their sin...that is self-righteousness..not God's!
@Turgor Umm my friend there indeed has been some people who have,I can't understand why they would think such a thing and it makes no sense. But I am led too believe they do this too just confuse people or maybe they are just plain confused but I have heard of it.It's one thing not too believe in GOD,But a completely different thing too say that what is written in it is not what it realy says.Either they are jews who hate the New Testement or they are Atheists.
One thing for sure shawn I can see that since you were a Jew and now are not now they attack you for it.And even when I was agnostic I could see the connection of the Old and New Testement after reading it myself ,and not indoctrinated by men.Hebrews 8 explains what the new Covanant is and also explains the Jews failure in upholding the Old,And in this my eyes opened and bam smack in the head I got it and then believed because I saw the truth. There is indeed a pattern as one reflects the other.
I have aquestion the guy aposticism made a response too youre video. He acts as an Atheist theologian,But comes by like a Jew who hates Christ and does anything too devide both New and Old Testement.Either he is just a deceptive person or he is Very very confused Atheist.I can't get a handle on it because he used deception either way. What is up with him and do you know him at all?And what he believes because he makes no sense. He has no solid foundation on any understanding.
I don't think I've heard the info about the meanings of the names in the geneology of Christ before. TY! I saw some Chuck Missler videos about Christ in the OT soon after my conversion & they got me reading all of the Bible with my newly opened eyes instead of rereading the more familiar things I'd heard about before such as the Christmas story & the 23rd Psalm. I'm sure I'd have come across the basics soon enough but his presentations are the most thorough & concise. This one's great!
My previous remarks were all about the first 2 minutes of the video. I watched another 3 and there's still no evidence given for any claims made Referencing the bible as evidence for a claim based on the bible is not evidence, it is the claim itself.
You mention three rebuttals to the claim that the old testament foretells the jesus of the new testament. You fail to mention the one actually used by atheists: "The new testament was compiled and edited to make it look like jesus is the messiah that the old testament predicts."
@Turgor If that is true..the Jews were pretty foolish Not to Get it...I mean though they rebelled against Jesus..couldn't stop the Apostles in spreading the Word:)
@DMA310 That doesn't make sense. The NT started being compiled around 50 BCE, a couple decades after the alleged events. How could anything in the NT have affected events that took place before it was written?
Why do people have to be so nasty in their comments? If you don't like him or what he says then don't watch the videos. If you want to debate something he says then say something intelligent that would be a valid argument to his beliefs. It's no wonder he thinks atheists are heathens without morals, people come at him with name calling & threats!I am an atheist & I love to watch his videos.Just because I do not agree with him doesn't mean I should belittle him or his beliefs.Perception is relative.
Also note only fragments of Genesis, not the book in its entirety resembling anything in the modern English Bibles, was found in the Dead Sea Scrolls. Further, the autographs of Genesis are nowhere to be found. It is not as much open and shut as you imply, there really is a lot of room for edits and reworks in the Bible.
When someone dies, it is called the first death (john 11, rev 20) the second death is total death (non-existance). When jesus died, he died the second, not just the first death. His soul was exceedingly sorrowful, even unto death. That is why we can claim his death as our own to be born again. Did Jesus go to hell forever?
@Redpilldown looking at atheism and theism these days, atheism is mainstream, hence atheists are the sheeple. You have to know what you are doing to be theist. Atheism is even taught in schools.

This was a very good video. It has been said that you can find a picture of Jesus on every page of the bible. I dont quite have that understanding but can believe it. This subjuct facenates me thank you.
Death is the total non-functioning of the physical body. No breathing, no heartbeat, no brain activity, etc. When the physical body dies the spirit that once inhabited it leaves the body. When Jesus died His spirit left the body. When He was resurrected His spirit reentered the newly transformed physical body. So Jesus' physical body "died" and was resurrected.
You gave no actual scripture references, a chapter & verse would be nice.
VenomFang, Google Emanuel Swedenborg. He wrote extensively about how the entire Old and New Testaments, word by word, are talking about Jesus Christ and each one of us personally in every chapter. Swedenborg's system of correspondences is extremely consistent and gives very compelling evidence for the Divinity present in the text of the Bible. Just thought you might find it interesting based on this video.
Ok. The Bible refers to God as "eternal" and "spirit". So in terms of God, He is an eternal spirit which cannot die. Exactly. A resurrection is someone dead coming alive. Jesus' body was dead and came back to life.
@megawolf7 you said "someone" dead..A body isn't "someone" alone. That's why God had to breathe into Adam's nostrils the breath of life before he was alive.Bodies aren't people without spirits animating them.God returns the spirit in a resurrection so that we may breathe again. The bible says "GOD ALONE is immortal" and when it says "God alone" is something,it means no one else is but by it being gifted! And that is only promised for the righteous in Christ.NOT "automatically for everyone."
@megawolf7 It's no coincidence that "spirit" in man means the breath in his nostrils or mouth. When we die, that returns to God who gives it back in a resurrection.Just like he gave it to the first Adam to animate him and the Last Adam on the third day to reanimate him.The resurrection would be meaningless for me if I was alive in bliss with God.It only means something if I'm dead and come back alive to be with God.
@megawolf7 That's just semantics considering we disagree on what both mean.I think death is a lack of breathing,an inability to think or speak,as God notes.I think a resurrection is someone literally dead coming back alive. You think death is someone alive without "flesh" and that the resurrection is someone alive getting flesh that they lost back. You didn't really address any of the scriptures I suggested that prove my points either.
The Daniel 9 prophecy predicts Jesus Christ to the very day. "Written 500 years before the birth of Jesus Christ (the oldest preserved copy dating 200 years before the birth of Christ), it foretells the very day Christ would enter Jerusalem. The prophecy states: 69 weeks of years (69 x 7 = 483 years) would pass from the decree to rebuild Jerusalem, until the coming of the Messiah. "
"This is according to the Babylonian 360-day calendar, since Daniel was written in Babylon during the Jewish captivity after the fall of Jerusalem. Thus, 483 years x 360 days = 173,880 days. According to records found by Sir Henry Creswicke Rawlinson in the Shushan (Susa) Palace, and confirmed in Nehemiah 2:1, this decree was made on March 14th, 445 BC, by Artaxerxes Longimanus. Exactly 173,880 days later, on April 6th, 32 AD,"
"Jesus Christ rode into Jerusalem upon a colt (fulfilling the prophecy in Zechariah 9:9). The world celebrates this day as Palm Sunday. Four days later, Christ was murdered upon the cross. Actually, the form of His execution and even His last words were foretold in Psalm 22. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead on Easter Sunday, fulfilling numerous other prophecies of our Messiah."
According to Bible expositor Chuck Missler the first 10 names of the family line that eventually leads to Jesus Christ has a message: Adam Man Seth Appointed Enosh Mortal Kenan Sorrow; Mahalalel The Blessed God Jared Shall come down Enoch Teaching Methuselah His death shall bring Lamech The Despairing Noah Rest, or comfort. It reads: Man (is) appointed mortal sorrow; (but) the Blessed God shall come down teaching (that) His death shall bring (the) despairing rest.
@megawolf7 but trinitarians don't believe Christ was a man in person, only in nature since he was only one person and acc. to trinitarians, that person was "the only true God" with only the "nature" of a man.(contradicting John 17:3 and too many texts to count that say Christ WAS In fact a man in person with the simplest language possible)So how exactly can you say that a whole person died for you?Flesh with nobody in it CAN'T be called a "person" yet "I" entails an actual person.Listen to Jesus.
@megawolf7 Again,"spirit" in Greek does not mean "immortal unkillable soul."It means breath of life. When that returns to God,he says our "thoughts perish" and that we cannot speak.Do you not believe him?It is in his hands figuratively because that is what he returns to us in a resurrection just as he did to his Son on the third day.On that 3rd day,Christ breathed again.A resurrection isn't someone alive regaining a body. It's someone dead coming alive.
@howdytheresir The flesh of Christ died but His spirit remained alive. Death does not mean annihilation. When you die you will not be annihilated. Your spirit will exist in another place. So when God became a man only the flesh died.
@megawolf7 The Hebrew word for spirit means "breath."When that returns to God,it is metaphorical for God having our lives in his hands for the resurrection where he will RETURN our breaths.God explicitly said that when our spirits leave our bodies, our thoughts perish and we're no longer able to speak. After all, without breath that wouldn't be possible.God describes death as "asleep" as opposed to "awake"
@megawolf7 Is "flesh" with no one in it your savior?Jesus said "I died.""I" in Greek demands a mind and an ego and an actual person be involved in what's described. If only "flesh" or a "nature" has saved you, then what did Christ mean when he said the death of HIMSELF did?
This is excellent insight into the Bible! The Bible is a living document! The depth of understanding is inexhaustable yet it maintains it's internal consistency.
You can't make this stuff up. The bible is truly the inspired word of God.
How about the two wives of Jacob being a macro-code of the church? Jesus came for the children but they didn't believe and so the gentiles where given instead of the Jews. So Jacob got Leah first when he intended for Rachel. But eventually he marries Rachel to.
@LambadLambadLambda ...written by one author, you're missing the point. Over a period of 2000 years, 40+ writers, no contradiction and thousands of prophecies. You are blinded by your foolishness thinking you are wise.
very nice. yeah there are many meanings, literal and prophetic. it is very practical, because the layers are integrated. for example, if everything was written out and extrapolated completely, you would have a giant book that would take forever to read. with it this way, the bible can be read aloud in 70 hours, and all the meaning is contained.
@silentgamer213 Well, the bible is Gods covenant with one people the Jews so its obvious. Gentiles were not part of the Kingdom of God until the Day of Pentecost when a Jew was considered to be a man whose heart was circumcised . From Adam to Abraham to David to Jesus was one lineage.
@silentgamer213 Im clueless, How does SD cards relate to your prior question, maybe you need to ask a more specific question so the answer can be more specific
The OT is really a rehearsal of the things that came to pass and the things that are about to come.
When John the baptist said "Behold the Lamb of God", everyone knew what he was talking about. A sacrificial offering which they have "rehearsed" for many many years.
Matthew 23:35 - Jesus refers to Abel as a righteous man who's blood is upon the hypocrites; so Cain's worldly efforts echo through to the Pharisees and scribes, too.
If i may add one that i found too, i think also in Genesis 3-15 describes Jesus 'And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel." Great vid vfx
@reddawg33401 You obviously don't know GOD, because you JUDGE by the OUTWARD appearance, which goes against the commandment of Messiah. Repent. John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
Great Video, VFX at his very best, this is what I like to see good solid information well presented and irrifutable - Well done and may God continue to bless you
@healthnbeauty1 watch? Please the majority of them don't get past the first few seconds without clicking the dislike button, leaving a negative comment and closing the video...
the names which had meaning fortelling the Messiah at the end was cool, i've seen another vid on it a while back. the bible has a lot of interesting and fasinating things in it. It even has music in it too...if you guys didn't know already...get the cd: Music from G-d: Days of majesty... i love G-d's music...people have even claimed that it has some healing powers.
@iDoctorIL Youre not disagreeing with me but DOCUMENTED geography/history....I however disagree with YOU because what you are saying doesnt agree with accurate-historic scholars. Sort of like how so many muslims cry and get angry when I repeat that in Hebrew Alah means Curse and Al and Lah mean No(al) Law(lah). Such is fact which I took the time out to record with a CAMERA because of the insane logic of they who think we should believe them and not the documented FACT(foolish).
@iDoctorIL Again my point is made...you think you know better than documented facts that wont change no matter how you much you try to impress upon one's mind. Living in Israel doesnt make you an authority on historic facts that can easily be looked up and sourced this very second. Does me being black make me an authority concerning a discussion of when a hip hop cd came out? NO it doesnt....nor will I esteem YOU nor can I account for your accuracy APART from document-able FACTS.
@iDoctorIL I have a video called Allah means Curse...watch the second one...i used a video camera to record its meaning, how to pronounce it, and how you can verify it for yourself(reference number). Again I will side with the professionals and if you disagree with the accepted FACT you dont disagree with me but with the Hebrew/Aramaic symbols(ones that you nor the person who taught you created THUS you MUST accept what the books say less you be WRONG, inaccurate, and even a fool).
First time I've considered the analogy of Jacob coming before his father robed as his brother/as we come to God robed in Christ's blood. I didn't realize that the story of Joseph & his brothers was a macrocode about the rejection of Jesus & the 12 brothers as the 12 tribes of Israel. God created these situations to teach. Amazing. & you're so cute.
These lamb-like and cover-like things are themes of the Bible. It doesn't seem that impressive to the non-believer that a blood sacrifice based religion would end in a blood sacrifice. So these "macro-codes" are themes of a primitive culture, nothing magical.
I just gotta say this: all theological issues aside, you put an amazing amount of work into your videos. Writing such long scripts and keyframing 35 minutes of graphics must have taken ages.
If I may, I would just add that the reason God calls Isaac Abraham's ONLY son may be also because Isaac was the son of the promise. Everything Abraham owned he left to his son Isaac. And the promise God made to Abraham, He also made by oath to Isaac. But Ishmael was born of flesh when Sarah sent Abraham to Hagar, despite God reveiling to Abraham to wait for the son of promise will be through Sarah. So Ishmael was born of the will of flesh, and had to be sent away.
Great point!! I don't know why those athiest watch the christian videos just to criticise. If they disagree with christanity than why do they watch the videos?
You truly have a gift Brother, the kind of gift that is loved my Christians but is hated by the world. I pray for Gods protection on and around you, in Jesus name I pray this, Amen.
I plan on sharing this video with my friends on Facebook and other brothers and sisters should do the same so that it can travel around the world in a very short time.
Truly gifted by God to deliver His Word, but because of your age you should let your faith be refined and tested to know what sort of faith it is. Each man given a measure of faith to be added to and strengthened before one should take authority over the elders.
Wow what a truly wonderful video. The Bible has so much treasure in it - it's so multi-layered with symbolism and fulfilled prophecy it's beyond astounding - the part with the names from Adam to Noah was just incredible. All glory to Lord Jesus
It makes me happy that you have stopped attacking science and stir up conflicts with atheists. What you do now is really interesting and well presented. I wish you all of luck in the future.
Shawn, according to Strong's H5440, the "thickets" that the horns of the ram (male sheep) were caught in, means entwined and could also possibly be thorns. The sacrificial lamb with thorns around his head. :)
@NOMCCBAMA You were right, it wasn't your place to make that stupid remark about Jacob & Esau, not just because it has no logic or meaning, but because it represents your Antisemitism.
There are atheists out there that have valid and good points, but, unfortunately, there are also those atheists, who are the majority unfortunately, who blindly argue and try to attack religion. It's the atheists who have good points that actually provide an interesting, intelligent discussion that allows me to expand my knowledge of both christianity and science.
subbed and keeping up on uploads :)

@megawolf7 And please click reply to my comments so I can see your responses to me.I noticed you don't do that.
howdytheresir 6 months ago
@megawolf7 It's no coincidence that "spirit" in man means the breath in his nostrils or mouth. When we die, that returns to God who gives it back in a resurrection.Just like he gave it to the first Adam to animate him and the Last Adam on the third day to reanimate him.The resurrection would be meaningless for me if I was alive in bliss with God.It only means something if I'm dead and come back alive to be with God.
howdytheresir 6 months ago
@howdytheresir Ok. Great. I agree. Jesus was dead and resurrected.
megawolf7 6 months ago

vizion24 6 months ago
@vizion24 cont.
Exactly 173,880 days later, on April 6th, 32 AD,"
vizion24 6 months ago
Cont.

Inmatinus 6 months ago
He's talking about the flesh dying. "I" means the persons as a whole including flesh. So when the flesh dies the spirit continues to exist.
megawolf7 6 months ago
@megawolf7 but trinitarians don't believe Christ was a man in person, only in nature since he was only one person and acc. to trinitarians, that person was "the only true God" with only the "nature" of a man.(contradicting John 17:3 and too many texts to count that say Christ WAS In fact a man in person with the simplest language possible)So how exactly can you say that a whole person died for you?Flesh with nobody in it CAN'T be called a "person" yet "I" entails an actual person.Listen to Jesus.
howdytheresir 6 months ago
@megawolf7 Again,"spirit" in Greek does not mean "immortal unkillable soul."It means breath of life. When that returns to God,he says our "thoughts perish" and that we cannot speak.Do you not believe him?It is in his hands figuratively because that is what he returns to us in a resurrection just as he did to his Son on the third day.On that 3rd day,Christ breathed again.A resurrection isn't someone alive regaining a body. It's someone dead coming alive.
howdytheresir 6 months ago
@howdytheresir The flesh of Christ died but His spirit remained alive. Death does not mean annihilation. When you die you will not be annihilated. Your spirit will exist in another place. So when God became a man only the flesh died.
megawolf7 6 months ago
@megawolf7 The Hebrew word for spirit means "breath."When that returns to God,it is metaphorical for God having our lives in his hands for the resurrection where he will RETURN our breaths.God explicitly said that when our spirits leave our bodies, our thoughts perish and we're no longer able to speak. After all, without breath that wouldn't be possible.God describes death as "asleep" as opposed to "awake"
howdytheresir 6 months ago
@megawolf7 Is "flesh" with no one in it your savior?Jesus said "I died.""I" in Greek demands a mind and an ego and an actual person be involved in what's described. If only "flesh" or a "nature" has saved you, then what did Christ mean when he said the death of HIMSELF did?

This is excellent insight into the Bible! The Bible is a living document! The depth of understanding is inexhaustable yet it maintains it's internal consistency.
This is defenitely a favorite to revisit
fellowservant34 6 months ago
You can't make this stuff up. The bible is truly the inspired word of God.
How about the two wives of Jacob being a macro-code of the church? Jesus came for the children but they didn't believe and so the gentiles where given instead of the Jews. So Jacob got Leah first when he intended for Rachel. But eventually he marries Rachel to.

very nice. yeah there are many meanings, literal and prophetic. it is very practical, because the layers are integrated. for example, if everything was written out and extrapolated completely, you would have a giant book that would take forever to read. with it this way, the bible can be read aloud in 70 hours, and all the meaning is contained.
Leiflton 6 months ago
@silentgamer213 Well, the bible is Gods covenant with one people the Jews so its obvious. Gentiles were not part of the Kingdom of God until the Day of Pentecost when a Jew was considered to be a man whose heart was circumcised . From Adam to Abraham to David to Jesus was one lineage.

The OT is really a rehearsal of the things that came to pass and the things that are about to come.
When John the baptist said "Behold the Lamb of God", everyone knew what he was talking about. A sacrificial offering which they have "rehearsed" for many many years.

@iDoctorIL Correction: Golgatha(the accurate site) IS on Mt Moriah
jamlimited3 6 months ago
@jamlimited3 Wrong
iDoctorIL 6 months ago
@iDoctorIL Youre not disagreeing with me but DOCUMENTED geography/history....I however disagree with YOU because what you are saying doesnt agree with accurate-historic scholars. Sort of like how so many muslims cry and get angry when I repeat that in Hebrew Alah means Curse and Al and Lah mean No(al) Law(lah). Such is fact which I took the time out to record with a CAMERA because of the insane logic of they who think we should believe them and not the documented FACT(foolish).
jamlimited3 6 months ago
@jamlimited3 Again, I live in Israel and I know the geography and history much better than you or your scholars.
I'm not much of a fun of Muslims but I do know Hebrew, and what you said about the word Allah is pure rubbish.
First of all the word for God in Hebrew is EL , and actually it is a Phoenician word, cos EL was a Phoenician God (long before the Israelites).
Secondly, Arabic and Hebrew are very similar (Semitic languages) and the word Allah is the Arabic version to the word EL.
iDoctorIL 6 months ago
@iDoctorIL Again my point is made...you think you know better than documented facts that wont change no matter how you much you try to impress upon one's mind. Living in Israel doesnt make you an authority on historic facts that can easily be looked up and sourced this very second. Does me being black make me an authority concerning a discussion of when a hip hop cd came out? NO it doesnt....nor will I esteem YOU nor can I account for your accuracy APART from document-able FACTS.
jamlimited3 6 months ago
@jamlimited3 Jesus.... (I'm an Atheist btw) ...
I've been to both places and I know where they are , and what documented facts do you have ah?
Secondly, It is not possible that the Romans crucified people on the mountain of the temple.
Thy did it outside of the city.
iDoctorIL 6 months ago
@jamlimited3 One more thing:
Allah does not mean a curse in Hebrew, not even if you divide the word into two.
Al in Hebrew means : don't
Lah in Hebrew means: to her
You messed up Hebrew with Arabic and English and Gibberish.
iDoctorIL 6 months ago
@iDoctorIL I have a video called Allah means Curse...watch the second one...i used a video camera to record its meaning, how to pronounce it, and how you can verify it for yourself(reference number). Again I will side with the professionals and if you disagree with the accepted FACT you dont disagree with me but with the Hebrew/Aramaic symbols(ones that you nor the person who taught you created THUS you MUST accept what the books say less you be WRONG, inaccurate, and even a fool).
jamlimited3 6 months ago

First time I've considered the analogy of Jacob coming before his father robed as his brother/as we come to God robed in Christ's blood. I didn't realize that the story of Joseph & his brothers was a macrocode about the rejection of Jesus & the 12 brothers as the 12 tribes of Israel. God created these situations to teach. Amazing. & you're so cute.

hiddenpilgrum 6 months ago
These lamb-like and cover-like things are themes of the Bible. It doesn't seem that impressive to the non-believer that a blood sacrifice based religion would end in a blood sacrifice. So these "macro-codes" are themes of a primitive culture, nothing magical.

Good work brother, thank you.
