You guys know the cool thing about this contest is that both lights are currently out of stock and on back order. If your local store doesn't have them in stock you will be waiting awhile before you can buy them. I have seen both of these in person at Metro sound and light in minneapolis MN and wow they are awesome. The ADJ rep wouldn't sell them to me no matter how much I begged. I think that since there are 2 lights to be won...you should split the competition into 2 groups...those that chose an LED light as their fave ADJ light...and those that chose other than LED ADJ lights...just a suggestion.

Anyone got experiance of 15 or even 12 inch subs i have limited space for transport so thing that an 18 would be too big....there is a double carlsbro 10 and 12 powered any ideas guys

I know a DJ in Chicago who says 10 inch react quicker than a 18 inch sub or even a 15.

I think the brand is EV. My 15 inch Samson has coasters which is really cool.

Thanks for the replay.....watched your vid on your sub yes good bit of kit...did you have a problem with the switch when on a wooden floor due to vibration....all ok now with the carpet????

Yes. The built in crossover is adjustable so it does not like bumping or floor bouncing.

Have not had a problem since using carpet.

Tile floor it is fine without carpet.

I think he's away from his desk for a few days, but from what I understand, it's not so much about the light you choose, but more about how you present your video about it. I don't think it matters if Brian likes your light or not, he's pretty objective about it :)

How can we trust your reviews from now on?

I feel you should still be able to trust his reviews. They give a closer look at the light than what you would typically find on the internet. He also tells reasons he likes the light, but never does he say "buy this product". Having met him in person, I can tell you his actions and reviews are sincere. He is passionate about DJing and sharing information here on youtube.

To set things straight: I love ADJ and I admit it's a cool competition. But I liked the independance of Brian, and in this video he says American Dj almost every 30 seconds. :p

Any review is done with the bias of the reviewer. Personally when I find a product I am interested in, I will check all over the web for multiple reviews and still try to see the light in person to make my own. Brian's reviews do give us a look inside the lights, which GC will not allow (I have asked them).

He says American DJ a lot because it is an American DJ competition, about American DJ lights, for a chance to win American DJ lighting. ;)

That choice is yours (as I've said before, I do not work for ADJ). All I can say is that if you have been watching, you'll know that I don't use ADJ products exclusivley. What I am trying to do is bring everyone some fun contests to win some free stuff :)

American DJ does not pay him jack from my understanding. I think that if Brian was unimpressed with a product, he would still be honest about it as well. He does reviews on lights he likes. Notice, he has done no review on the LED beacon light...LOL.

ADJ believes in not only what I do, but in what we do as a whole. They are not the only company that likes what we're doing (seen J's Channel lately? HA!)

We HAVE to be honest about what we review. The whole point to doing these Youtube videos is to help one another and that will NEVER change :)
