  • Not many people in wheelchairs are that strong

  • @IWPRO Many more people just have no desire to even try this. The rail makes it easier, but I have seen a 90 lbs para woman climb a whole flight of regular stairs using my 40lbs chair, without even get out of breath. The key is the cam-locks that allows resting between pulls.

  • @ebaysutube OHHH ok now i get you but may i ask wuts the cam-locks

  • @IWPROThey are "hill-holders" in reverse that I carved out of solid aluminum (the plastic ones work, but the torque on stairs is many times what they're designed for)

You can see them close up at minute 3:15 of the 8th vid in the line up on my channel. Thanks for watching.

  • @ebaysutube oh ok wuts the cam-locks tho

  • that was brilliant!

  • Fantastic, I have recently been in wheelchair due to neurological problems, I am seeking new ideas to help me fit in. This is very helpful, thank you- Jonathan

  • @combatives Thank you! please read up about the details of how this works on my other vids, and comments I already made.

  • Super!

  • WoW....... impressive!

  • wow, that's clever.

  • I just love this guys work! he invented so many cool things. I mean to me this is news worthy. Not the poltical garbage we keep seeing... They will tell us anything we wan to hear in order to win. Once in they will do what they wanted anyway. Or rather what ever special interest, or other groups paying them or others off to make it hell to do the right thing.

ebay here is the real news maker I say for inventions that could help a ton of people all over the world. :)

    Way to go buddy!

  • Ever tried to do this drunk?

  • alcohol is the poison

  • certainly an idea.. That's a seatbelt you have on right?..I have a stair case that turns in the middle, but I suppose the same thing could be done

  • These stairs also turn,at the bottom there are 3 more. I will make a new vid soon.

  • my question is weat if ya faint near the top. a handicap thought this up.

  • I guess you would bounce all the way down on your head and back.

  • lol. yeah. i could see that... Hoss.... I don't think id wanna mess with you of you had to that two or four times a day.

  • I did not think through my answer well, there are one way ratchets on each wheel that make it 80%+ easier to do this. SO IF you were USING these you would just stay where you were if you fainted...UNLESS you were tipped forward, then you would have a REAL BAD TIME..but you'd be already passed out,so who knows.

  • Actually, this dude made some of the smartest safety devices around! Working much like a rachet wrench he has one way locking cams to prevent his wheelchair from rolling back down on him. Just awesome I say.

  • That's awesome but I agree with oilsucks. How do you come down?

  • the same way but in the opposite direction...or backwards...

  • Show us down!
