@DarkMobias My theory is this. Let's say you're on the last level of a long game. You've been operating with a cool, calm, collected efficiency. Then you have to start over for some reason. You've lost all your momentum that you've built up. Now you rush, you trip, you fail a few times, etc... You get thrown out of your loop. That's Maka's case. Kid and Black Star both started off without a soul to their names. So they both started from nothing and built up. Maka had to start over.

Soul Eater: First anime with a hot girl that can actually fight. No I don't want Bleach/Naruto references. Those were second and well, not third.. Tsunade was a bit old so Kanon was the only one.
