  • WHERE DID U DOWNLOAD THAT FROM.

  • @FARDINMAJED common torrent sites

  • where did you download that

  • you can download it online of the everyday torrent site, or just buy it for cheap at a retail store

  • WHERE DID YOU DOWNLOAD THAT GAME!!!!!!!

  • where did you download this game?

  • where did you download this game?

  • It makes quite some noise, not as much as the pc notebooks but yea its pretty loud. just ignore it, the fans rotate at 6000RPM. Nothing to worry about. Put on some nice music or increase the game sound and your 'problem' is solved ^ ^ enjoy!

  • How loud is your fan while playing games??

I´m worried about mine , it goes crazy in games

  • is this game good?

    like Gran Turismo good?

  • @ecllippse It's a good and fun game, but not even close to GT. This is more an Race Arcade game.

  • im suprised that mac can play this. Mabey im wrong about mac

  • @liod27 Its the specs what count, Both are computers...

  • @liod27 Mac's can do a lot! Don't underestimate.

  • What's strange is that every-time I'm about to crash, the game lags up, probably to process the damage I've done to my car. Its exactly the same as your computer except its on 2GB or RAM rather than 4. If I update the ram, then apple gets pissed at you for not using their ram, but whatever. Even then I don't think that the ram is the bottleneck so I guess I just have to figure things out.

  • great song remix

  • i have this for my xbox 360 demo

  • I have this for my ps3

  • good for you, honey...

  • uh never call me honey.

  • LOL

  • can grid play on this with smooth fps:

    imac 20"

    2.66GHz intel core 2 duo

    4gb DDR2 SDRAM

    ATI radeon HD 2600 Pro

  • My guess is that it will run smooth but I can't tell on what resolution. That's something you'll have to find out yourself and if you do please post the results here :-) Cheers!

  • Btw, great video ;)

  • I update my drivers for windows in windows. Boot into windows then go to the nvidia driver page and notebook drivers. Worked for me

  • hey have you ever had this weird sound cracking/poping thing when you install vista in bootcamp.

  • Only XP here, no vista so far.. But I didn't got any weird sounds from a XP install.

  • @301million

why vista?? use XP or Windows 7.

  • I have a question: How do you update the drivers from Nvidia?

  • What the name of the song ????

  • listed in 'more info'

Song: No one knows (remix) - Unkle

  • Tanks Man Great video =)

  • Haha you're welcome and great that you appreciate it! :-)

  • 'Old' and unibody Macbook Pro users UPDATE your graphic drivers in windows! Nvidia recently made it possible for (Apple) notebook users to download drivers. You really notice the difference!!

  • Woah nice :) that's some serious mobile desktop power

  • i'm getting the NEW macbook pro 17" for college with 2.93ghz DUO processor with the new NVidea GT DEDICATED graphics boosted by the integrated with 8 hrs of battery life. that laptop is gonna be AMAZING for games. i cannot wait

  • wow pc is over

  • oh ok :p

  • is it the ALT button or the CMD button ?

  • no 'fn' (above the 'delete' button)

  • oh thx

  • how do you use F2 and the other F buttons because on our imac I can't use them :s plz help me

  • use the 'fn' key (or function key) and F2 at the same time

  • you can also change it man

just dig into the bootcamp thingy on XP you'll find the option

that'll let you use the F keys normally without pressing the fn key.

  • can the base mbp play grid

  • yea :)

  • (@ settings) 2x Multisampling (2XSMAA) active, still need to try some things to get a little more FPS out of this baby. But current setup up does the job pretty well :)

  • nice man.

i'm thinking about getting a mbp for mobile gaming while having an alienware as my main gaming tower.

do you think the mbp will be able to handing upcoming games such as diablo iii and starcraft ii?

  • I think it will, although the system requierments are unknown the mbp runs heavier games at this moment. Usually titles like SC2 en Diablo 3 run good on good midrange systems. We still have to wait & see though but I guess things will work out just fine.

  • Starcraft 2 system reqs are out today, recommended core 2 duo and an 8600gt.

  • Then as soon as the demo releases I'll try and report how it runs. Minimal requirements GFX- GeForce 7/8 Series or Radeon 1000/2000 with 256 MB RAM CPU - Pentium 4 RAM - 1 GB Internet - ADSL 1 Mbit Recommended requirements GFX - GeForce 8000 or Radeon 2000 series with 512 MB RAM CPU - Core 2 Duo or Athlon X2. RAM - 2 GB Internet - ADSL 3 Mbit
  • Optimal requirements

GFX - Geforce 9000er or Radeon 3000er Series

CPU - Core 2 Duo 3 GHz or Athlon X2

RAM - 2GB with DualChannel mode

    My Macbook Pro has:

    GFX GeForce 8600M 256 DDR3 - OK

CPU 2.4 Ghz Merom with 667 FSB - OK

    RAM 4GB (2x2 DualChannelMode) - OK

So I think it will run pretty good ^^

  • Alright thanks, I'm still waiting for my XPS M1530

  • That's cool! I prefer the mac as a working station and use windows for gaming. But if you want a good mobile gaming notebook the XPS series are the better choise :) respected. Enjoy your future notebook!

  • The Macbook Pro can play Crysis at medium to high settings. It think it'll handle upcoming games :-p

  • only the new macbook pro can handle the new games GOOD

  • Average FPS 25+ with drops to 22 FPS and peaks on 34 FPS, didn't spend too much time tweaking graphics. The resolution i'm playing on is 960x600 and all major settings are set to High, some minor settings are put on Medium. Enjoy the vid! Btw skipped some loading parts. For the record I made the vid to show the game not my lack of driving skills ^^

    Music: soundtrack of the game

No one knows (queens of the stone age) Remix by Unkle

  • I made this video to show how Race Driver Grid runs on a previous model of the Apple Macbook Pro. The Macbook Pro is running Windows XP in Bootcamp and the specs of the machine are:

2.4 Ghz Core 2 Duo (merom version)

    15 inch

    4GB ram

    160 GB 7200 RPM HD

    GeForce 8600M 256DDR3
