One of the best movies I've ever seen. And I've seen alot. Very surprising. The end was superb and I actually liked the fact they didnt show you Earth 2. It left alot of space open for pondering and fantasizing. Very suggestive. No movie for people who like stupid, mindless actionflicks though.:)

One of them is a weird purple red color. Then, meteors begin to fall everywhere. They're freakish nightmares, but I can't understand why its been happening... Eh, probably something to do with the fact that I've always wanted to be an astronaut.

She said that the synchronization was broken just before the crash and when they found out about Earth 2, but according to me it must be wrong cause the synchronization must have been broken when they watched the tv when they got acknowledged about the double gangers. While watching the tv they were acknowledged about the presence of life, on the other hand, when she looked up at the Earth, she acknowledged a gradient or a factor of the Another Earth, as a matter of fact, the whole other Earth. I just watched this from redbox. If you have an open mind, you will be shocked on how much this movie touches you. I played the last scene over and over again and my hairs on my arms are still standing up and it was over an hour ago. The story is amazing and I now believe this movie has taken Avatar's spot in MY list of favorite movies. I'm speechless.
VERY interesting storyline.Its like 2 different storyline that somehow fit into each other.The storyline of the discovery of earth 2 plays second fiddle to the actual drama revolving the crimes and guilt committed by the girl. I watched it as I thought it was a sci fi movie but I was pleasantly surprised as I hate 'drama' movies. It contains NO aliens or UFOs. The actress who cast Rhoda was prefect. I loved it. A warm emotional film. UK DVD release - OMG - hurry up!

Oh man, I really want to ask about what the implications are of what happened at the end but... I think I'd ruin the movie. The movie really leaves you without much foreshadowing about whats going to happen in the end so its totally up in the air.
@adamchou girl on earth 1 gave her ticket away as a way of redeeming herself for her guilt. The girl on earth 2 made the trip.This may mean that either the guys wife and family is still alive as no accident occurred on earth 2 therefore girl on earth 2 made the trip for a very different reason OR the accident may have also occurred on earth 2 but instead, it was the husband that died and the wife and kid survived hence the husband on earth 1 made the trip and reunited with the family.
Because of the beginning of the trailer is scary and suspenseful i hope someone will make a scary or thriller genre of the topic what would happen if another earth would come to our planet that would be awesome to watch just think about it, that would be scary
A very emotionally intense movie, when you really understand the meaning that you give to this movie, your mind will be full of What if's. Thats it, what if you could change your choise, what would've happened if you took the other path or what if you listened to your mom, what if your parents never divorced. What if i never cared.
So much potential, wasted. And I love how the trailer tells you the entire movie, chick kills dudes family, dude doesn't know it was her, she feels guilty, offers up her pussy cause that's all she has.

Sound of My Voice, the creepy cult thriller, co-written, co-produced by and starring Marling comes out 4/27/2012. The East, a terrorist thriller with occupy Wall Street undertones (also co-written, co-produced and starring Marling) with Alexander Skarsgard, comes out late 2012, or it may be premiered at Sundance 2013.

Oh man, I really want to ask about what the implications are of what happened at the end but... I think I'd ruin the movie. The movie really leaves you without much foreshadowing about whats going to happen in the end so its totally up in the air.

@adamchou girl on earth 1 gave her ticket away as a way of redeeming herself for her guilt. The girl on earth 2 made the trip.This may mean that either the guys wife and family is still alive as no accident occurred on earth 2 therefore girl on earth 2 made the trip for a very different reason OR the accident may have also occurred on earth 2 but instead, it was the husband that died and the wife and kid survived hence the husband on earth 1 made the trip and reunited with the family.
