It's a shame about Plant's voice as his career went on.

From 69 - 72 he could sing very difficult songs with lots of screaming like Immigrant Song and Communication Breakdown with ease, and this is when, in my opinion, Led Zeppelin was at their best live. But after 72, as we see on the Song Remains The Same concert, which is in 73, his voice isn't as good.

definitely. as great as their songs were later in their career like on Houses of the Holy and Physical Graffiti, I'd still forfeit all that to see them in 1970 if I could pick any year to see them. this was the epitomy of their greatness.

I seen them in Rochester, ny in 1971 and Feb 1975. In 1971 you are right way ahead of their time. Artist are still trying to fashion, singing, drumming and guitar skills after them.

I love how the crowd goes INSANE when the announcer yells "they are hear....LED ZEPPELIN!!" i would be jumpin from my seat, screamin my lungs out jus like every other fan. Great version of Immigrant Song too!
