Your not supposed to keep the curling iron on for longer than 10 seconds. to keep the curls in just use hair spray.

@NessiAndRonnie yes i've heard that, but my hair is rather thick. if i only leave it in for 10 seconds, that section of hair isn't even curly yet. i've found that for my hair, holding it in longer just works better. everyone is different. but thanks for the tip and thanks for watching :)

@RainInColors actually, I do. Ususally it doesn't look like it (since my hair is pin straight). But every time I get my hair cut they say that I have "so much hair!" :)

@kayforevx I actually don't know how it was done, Joanna's mom did it for me (i hopelessly bad at french braiding). but i think she just did a french braid only with my bangs. then she tied it with a clear rubber band and put the clip in to make it pretty =) sorry i can't actually show you, but i hope my little explanation is helpful. =) ~kayla
