My son Andrew is there now until June. He is SrA and everytime I speak with him he tells me he is bored. he works 14 hour shifts and those burn pits are killing his breathing. Did it affect you?

He must be working towers. The burn pits/Iraq in general.....stinks. It didn't really effect my breathing. It stinks pretty bad sometimes over there, but you move on.

he works on the defense systems on the choppers, not sure if thats where the towers you mentioned. if the burn pits are really affecting him such as bloody nose and allergic reations. will he be taken care of in base? Or they have to shorten his deployment?

If it's that bad or happening constantly, he should see the medic/go to the hospital. He will unquestionably be taken care of, but people have to know about it first.

Mike I really find it hard to think that the AF is doing as much as the Army in that area. What ithat village name right out side the SF Gate and the one off of Route Dover befor the first CP. I do know that AF is pulling Security around LSA Ananconda but it's right outside the Wire. But if I am wrong then it's about time the AF takes off there panties and wears some pants around there. Pretty funny, My twin brother is SF in the AF and I have been to Iraq twice and for one year I was posted at LSA Anaconda where we conducted Combat Patrols every day for almost a year. If it makes you feel better Mike your doing a great job! keep it up. I know that area better then the LN's there.
