  • got 20 points in less than a month

  • prothector

  • what would be the best professions? well the best ones that are not casters lol

  • Do you have 30 points :)?

  • umm question about that canthan armor so i can just buy it in the Kaineng Center with no work involved or what?

  • @HOBSChannel no, it cost you money and materials.

  • He makes it sound so easy. T__T

  • @Ryday37 well...it is,it takes some time tho.

  • @ZZaladar A lot of time and a lot more time farming. =/

  • Mesmer build Link doesn't work anymore.

  • For someone who has never played GW1 ever how long do you think getting 6 points would take. Allso any tips on how i can do it without leveling max or spending to much time im sorta looking for a way to rush it.

  • @Washiolka664 well you get 3 right up with linking accounts, other 3 can be gotten by finishing factions, and taming 1 of the pets. take you a weekend at most :P

  • @valoraz I read online and found out that through end game pvp you can attain vanity armour so im gonna do that instead. But thanks for the help anyways :D

  • u da best mate.

  • Can I sell miniatures that I have displayed in HoM without them being removed and not counted in HoM, or will I have to always have them?

  • @njszoke Yes, you can sell previously dedicated miniatures. Once a miniature has been dedicated to your Hall of Monuments, it can never be undedicated and the points you have gained can not be lost. As a result, you can safely sell these dedicated miniatures if you so wish; be aware, however, that you will need to clearly state this in the chat when selling it and expect the miniature to sell for a lower price. I hope I helped you out. Have a great day!

  • Ok, you have to make more than one character.

  • Thank you for your help.

  • really, thx dude, now, after 3 years of playing { ye, i know, long } i can finally get most of titles, it's sad, becuse i didn't get them yet, peace bro

  • Started playing Guild Wars in August Just got my 30/50 using this guide very happy I found it and thanks for the great info/guide TubeElephant...

  • How long would it take for someone who never played GW1 to get 30 points? Take in to consideration I would have to learn the game as I go.

  • @Slomoshun09 It talkes quite a while especially if you don't know how to play that well or don't have enough skills. Getting 30 points also takes quite some money so you have to know how to farm. This means you have to learn how to farm and this isn't always easy.

  • What is the best character to do this guide? I am totally starting from zero. I will buy GW1 just for the these 30 points. Can you tell me?

  • @kirekk1a I would roll and elementalist in the prophecies campaign. Makes it easier to get the protector of Tyria because you won't need a run to the beginning instances. Also is easier on the pocket for the elite armor to a certain degree. There will still be a couple armor sets namely Obsidian and Kurzick/Luxon armor sets because of globs of ecto/obsidian shards and amber/jade which are quite expensive. Hope that helps some..

  • @TubeElephant : Do you think I can manage at least 20 points before release of gw2 (I know the release date is not set yet but they won't release it within a week after announce)? I just found this video but wanna try if you think I can manage it. The time at work days I have is 6 hours at most, weekends is from when I wake up to I need to sleep :P

  • @SerraxGaming GW2 is gonna be released this year so you've got a couple of months maybe 5 or 6 i hope so yeh you could just farm some ectos and z keys and get all the minis and heros quickly. If you've already played the game you'll know what I'm talking about and you'll also have some titles already from the campaigns.

  • cloth of the brotherhood is 4k,kinda cheap now!

  • I'd like to add that you don't need to complete factions for a Black Moa.

  • Excellent guide! I've played GW for many years and this is the best guide I've seen on the subject. Not that I needed it, but it's a great community contribution, thanks!! And yes, it's worth it. ;)

  • Just got 30 points i HoM using this guide. I had the game but bought Eye of the north. I started a fresh character and i dont really have any experiance with the game. But it took me 130 hours to get EVERYTHING done. A hint to anyone trying is to use death leveling to level you pets to lvl 20 otherwise it can be a pain. took me 30 min to get all 3 pets to lvl 20. Anyway thank you for your guide it really helped.

    Peace out!

  • Really great guide! Makes it feel less troublesome! :D

  • Going to play this game for the first time... is this going to be hard? lol

  • amazing jobs

  • just got to go do them.... not as easy as one might think...

  • whao...i dont even know about argos soft

    thx for sharing

keep up the great vids -^_^-

  • Also I will make one correction - you say in the description buying sets is cheaper for elementalists because they don't need to get the helms, but no class needs to buy the helms of the sets to put them in their HoM. "Only the four body armor pieces are required to dedicate a set, even if there is a headpiece available for it." - GWW

  • @moyga Ahh, thanks for pointing that out! I didn't know

  • @moyga yeah you do now...

  • @Omgzill

They changed it so you need the helmets?

  • @moyga yeah i recently had to do it for my warrior

  • @Omgzill

Damn that sucks.. wish I got it done earlier. I got lazy and stopped when GW2 was taking forever to come out.

  • Do you recommend any specific profession for doing this?

  • @moyga Depends on which campaign you start from. I think ritualist is the strongest one -factions campaign-. Play with SoS build. It's an easy build, even a noob can play with that, and it's kinda overpowered.

Casters are overall stronger than melee in gw1. -because of lots of blindness=90% miss to hit for melee-

    So mesmer, elementalist, monk, ..

  • Thanks for this.

  • Thanks for the guide :D

  • Are u gonna make a guild in GW2 m8 ? So everyone that's your subscriber can join it, it would be a kick ass guild ;)

  • NICE

  • Awesome video as always! You might consider adding a text note to inform the viewers that the head gear item is not necessary to dedicate the elite armour set in Hall of Monuments.

  • Little update, Seems like cloth of brotherhood is going for about 2k ea! Thats much better then 5k each, and for all heros you will pay around 20k :)

  • i didnt enjoy the first one at all, to be honest i thought they were just "another generic MMO'' but when i saw that manifesto video.................... not only did i conform but, it tickled my little heart as though i was a little boy

  • You should probably put a notice to those willing to work on this, to NOT make a Nightfall specific character.

  • Finally, a useful guide on this topic. I've found that other Hall of Monuments guides don't explain each individual accomplishment well enough. Good job @TubeElephant

  • Awesome! Thank you!

  • Why is he showing stuff from Gw1?

  • @JitbTV He's been doing a Let's Play of Guild Wars to have something to put up, and previously he said he'd make a guide on how to get thirty points in the Hall of Monuments. This is important, because getting points in it will give you items for Guild Wars 2.

  • @JitbTV The Hall of monuments is in GW1, Anet has decided to have rewards in GW2 from playing GW1 and the HoM is how they chose to do that

  • in todal from start of the game to the end how many hrs. did it take you =o? and how long would it take for someone like me who has no friends and has to solo xD?

  • Good vid man! did it better than me! =P

  • Are you half Irish and half German???

  • Love your accent tube =)

  • Very nice info video. Keep them coming!

  • the items from guildwars 1 for HoM will be good for the first few levels or more but they will not end up being used end game they are just nice little things to have at the start but anet have said that you can drop items of the same skins and stats around the place aswell so they are just basicly starting stuff apart from the titles and the pets but you can always go back to gw1 when gw2 is out and do it aswell as anet have said you can go back and still do them seems guildwars wont go down

  • nice vid mate

  • nice guide tube :)

  • Elite Faction armor isn't available for P's and D's

  • Too much work, I'll stick with my 5 points.

  • I have a huge question: Can I pvp with my main character, the one i level up with and not the ones u select for pvp?

    Can't find an answer..

    ty

  • @Velomirny Yup. From the tutorial onwards you can head to the pvp area and start playing matches :)

  • @Velomirny you can do World pvp, but not regular pvp

  • Played since '06 (almost never play now) and only have 10 points because I didn't try. Would you recommend I go for 30 during the long wait for GW2?

  • pretty good guide, and that's how you do it - see what's the easiest and go for it.To me it's kind of stupid that 80% of the points have to be accumulated with gold and 5 maxed titles are worth the same points as 10 miniatures, but what are you gonna do.

  • Very nice!

  • Show me some love! Like and favorite the video!

  • @TubeElephant Do you think its worth leveling up in Gw1 just to get these? I personally dont like the 1st one at all.

  • @Yellowtoxin srsly if u don't like it, don't even bother with this guide. This guide is awesome but its going to take a LONG time to do everything there. I've been playing gw1 for almost 3 years (quit 1.5 years ago) and I only have 30 points. Its very difficult and time consuming to do. If you have gw1 already, it might be worth while to get about 10 points just by doing the easy stuff.

  • @Yellowtoxin far as i know there isnt much effort to lvl up at all. its more of a play through then lvling x-x

  • @Yellowtoxin honestly it is questionable. i have made it too 30 points but i already have all the games, and have played guild of wars for a few years. for me, it was tedious at best. if you don't like the first one's gameplay i think it won't be worth it. the overall game-time you'll spend is probably around 30 hours in game. if that doesn't sound worth it, than you have your answer.

  • @TubeElephant Could you pls udate the Mesmer-Build Link, don't know how to build them. TY, nice vid! :)
