That makes Arameans and Assryians/Chaldeans related, but not the same. Syrics are Arameans that converted to Christianity. Later, Assyrians/Chaldeans under went a Arameanization process in which they started to speak Aramaic (and adopted other Aramean culture), they original spoke Akkadian.

Assyrians= non Arab, are Christian, speak the modern dialect of Aramaic [language of Jesus]
Both are Middle Eastern, an Assyrian can be originally from Syria since it was part of the ancient Assyrian empire, thus the name "Syria" was derived from ancient "Assyria".

Come on. You know very well that until world war 1, we were called Syrians for two thousand years. No Arabs around back then. Only after 1923 people started to refer to Arabs of Syria as Syrians. The Arabic, Kurdish and Turkish name for us still is Siryani. In short. The people who call themselves Assyrians or Arameans are both Syrians/Suryoye and speak (different dialects of) the same language. In the Syriac language this is not a problem. Both groups accept the name Suryoye/Suryaye. Assyrians call themselves Suryaye Athuraye and Arameans Suryoye Oromoye. Only in English there is a problem because the name Syrian is now used by Arabs.

There are more of them in Brazil then there are in the entire Mid. East.
