In the video the accft starts backing up after the 2nd rotation. I was holding a little too much right rudder and as a result using up elevator to compensate. The elevator seems to be somewhat effective until it is no longer hit by the propwash -then it is effective in reverse due to the reverse flow of the relative wind. The propwash effect over the elevator seemed to go away after 2 3/4 rotations -but I am no expert!

how much control authority does the elevator have when you are sliding backwards through the tail slide?
