The truth about Ilene Chaiken is she did not make the story of The L Word fair. Ending the show without Adele Channing being punished the way she deserves is totally unacceptable, it has sparked the biggest outrage among TLW fans, especially the Jennikki fans. And Ilene Chaiken is to be blamed because she's the cause of that, she did not guarantee any total satisfaction. The L Word is not enough.

I have only just finished watching series 1, so I don't know what you all do, but speaking as a newbie, Jenny's Virginia Woolf-like characterisation could only have ended one way, in the water as an act of suicide. I feel sad at her lack of boundaries and all the hurt that will bring, but she is an interesting character. Disappointed with the sex scenes, they seem so mechanical and boring. Shane is hot!
I think it's a good plot twist that she died. Jenny was an awesome character, but having her die makes the series a whole lot more emotional and intresting.
Btw: Imo they didn't kill the most good looking character. Shane is still alive, duh. xD

Alice did not kill Jenny, Bette did. Remember Bette at the balcony high above the pool in conversation with Jenny and she left her there and denied that she has seen Jenny when Tina asked her. Perhaps Alice was going to prison because she was covering for Bette and she had to take Bette's place.
This is a stupid scene. I would understand us seeing jenny just as they zipped up the body bag or just before they pulled over the sheet.....but that would never happen to leave the dead body with face showing to a room of grieving friends, not to mention the fact there was a child in the room. This was ridiculous. Just stupid.
The last season was a joke.
Since i've watched the entire series now. I personally think Jenny killed herself. No one wanted her, neither did shane. And she was already suicidal..
I think the reason why she didnt give shane the letter was bc she was pissed and hid it so she wouldnt hurt anyone else. And i guess she just forgot about it.
I hated that they killed jenny but i wish they would have made peace with eachother. This was no happy ending.

@DiabolicalAngel You are my kind of artist! No joke. It was a perfect ending that Jenny should die. She was fun and evil and a character that I loved to hate. I think that the entire cast is beautiful, not just one, but all of them exuded a beauty to their own. Awesome series and right up there w/ Sopranos.

Nope i think Jenny killed herself But in knowing Each one of the Ladies has a Motive. Tina Beacuse of the movie, Tina because of the Video Jenny took of her and Kelly, Alice because she stole her story idea Helena because of her BS with Dylan, And Shane because of the Jacket/ Letter thing i think everyone else just hated Jenny and i think they all had Motive but she jumped and killed herself to Drive them all apart

Alice did not kill Jenny, Bette did. Remember Bette at the balcony high above the pool in conversation with Jenny and she left her there and denied that she has seen Jenny when Tina asked her. Perhaps Alice was going to prison because she was covering for Bette and she had to take Bette's place.

This is a stupid scene. I would understand us seeing jenny just as they zipped up the body bag or just before they pulled over the sheet.....but that would never happen to leave the dead body with face showing to a room of grieving friends, not to mention the fact there was a child in the room. Disrespectful but l word as great as it was, wasn't always good with being realistic.x
