@akapushkin So true what u said. I felt the same way. I guess she was going through the angry phase in her life at the time (hating everyone and everything) and it reflected on her character. She never cracked up like she used to in the earlier days. She just screamed and yelled. You can tell the audience was relieved when she finally cracked a smile. Having that said, the earlier Roseanne is the funniest sitcom ever.

Lecy Goranson was so much better as Becky. And she pulled off the character better. Back then, Becky had her selfish moments, but she could be sweet and caring towards her family and Mark. She even had a few heart to heart moments with Darlene. Now Becky is just a plain jerk.
