I love this poem. Yeats really brings out the melancholy in me...but that's a good thing. It means that his words have gotten to my soul...& whenever I do weep over beautiful things in this world...I always remember those words in this poem...."terrible beauty". That really sums it up. What a unique & amazing poet & person he was. I wish I had known him.
