This is the best karaoke backup I've ever seen on YT.
If you know some music theory, if you know the vocal tradition started by the 4 Freshmen and the Hi-Los, if you know how hard it is to write a substantial amount of nonsilly lyrics, then you can appreciate this song and its greatness. Most songs from my youth about guys having crushes on high school and college girls were pathetic and inane. This one is well thought out. When I praised this song in college, eyes rolled. I don't care!

OMG!! Cherish is my all-time favorite song.
I'm giving this 5 stars if for no other reason than this karaoke-style presentation shows just how difficult this wonderful song is to sing.
