i made it from the lego mindstorms nxt set. i took me about 2 days to create, and change.

for the programs i use the software that comes wif the nxt set (NXT-G) but the mobile application is just a function that sends a message to the nxt to move a certain motor in a certain direction

The next step is to increase the angle at which it can turn. After that, think about mounting a stationary camera, and maybe even the ability to look around independantly. Then increase the range. Spend enough time and resources on this project and you could have a fully functional remote-controlled exploration rover =)

hmmmmmmmmmm. as far as i know, lego hasnt made an application for the k700i. i used to have that phone, but i cudnt get the k750 applictaion to work on it, so i had to use my mates (k750). i now own a k800, and i have downloaded the application for that. sorry, but it looks like another excuse for a new phone! (hope u didnt get the k700 for christmas!)

The Wii Remote cannot directly hook up to a NXT control brick, the phone software uses the BT Serial Protocol, while the Wii Remote uses BT HID(Human Interface Device). You need a PC and some programming as a go-between for the two.
