  • Nice crush!

  • America: the galaxy's #1 Earth killer.

  • Hi i think that every person in the world that throws out recycle able stuff out deserves to get killed

cos they are destruing our planet only cos they cant got and recycle!! lol :) nice vid and work 5/5 and i subscribe

  • you comment a lot on how america is a very wasteful country, never the less it is why you have that job.

  • what is the song name like this song

  • Its called "Phantom Limb" by Pig Destroyer

  • omg XO XO

  • industrial life at it's reality.

  • thats alot of garbage . some people never heard of the word recycle . its not really that hard . just grab some blue bins and throw things in partaining to plastics papers and glass . simple easy and it benifits the world .

  • ....very good subject matter to post...thanks

  • Capitalism depends upon waste to work properly.

War is the best way to through away resources and create shortages that must be "replenished."

    Capitalism is suicide.

Exponential expansion and waste cannot be sustained on a finite planet with finite resources.

  • If u every study economics before, u'll know that everyone is indeed a capitalist. It's really just what type of capitalism that u're talking about.

  • No, the people who OWN thew means of production and/or have a commodity to sell are Capitalists. Under them are the Professional Classes; Doctors, Lawyers Entrepreneurs Clergy; priests, nuns, etc who don't WORK At the bottom, the class most necessary to the Capitalists; The Proletariat. Proletarians have nothing to sell but their own labor. Units of labor. Slaves. In 1900, over 90% of all Americans were SELF EMPLOYED. That number is now about 2%
  • Wait, let me get this straight. Do u agree that a capitalist is anyone who owns producer goods or owns a share of some business that produce goods?

Secondly, Capitalism is not a social system, or a political system, or a philosophy, or a religion; it is an economic structure. Agreed? If so, all countries with much industrial development, including socialist/communist countries are "capitalist" countries. So capitalism is a bad thing?

  • Also, i was curious about one thing. Proletariat is a member (according to Marxist philosophy) of the propertyless class of people who must work for their living. I was just wondering...are you a socialist, who is taking the effects of free enterprise system and private capitalism for granted?

  • I'm an American.

    I'm a patriot.

I want to see my country get back on the right track.

  • with socialism?

  • Careful with that word, there's a really broad spectrum of political-economic situations that people can call socialist.

People used to say about FDR that he was a socialist and would ruin America.

Adam Smith's ideas about markets in The Wealth Of Nations are a lot closer to what some would call socialist, and bear less resemblance to today's corporate super-predator capitalism, than many think.

  • There are many forms of socialism, but all of them believe in the same basic ideas. This is an example of the most fundamental "doctrine" held by socialists: There are students taking a math test, and only a few of the many students studied hard for the test. The teacher, after scoring the tests, decides to destribute the high scores of the hard working students to the students that didn't study or study a little, thus making everyone having the same score. (Cont.)

  • The hard working students eventually will lose their motivation to study hard, since everyone will get the same score everytime there's a test. So you see, the result of such philosophy is a "stable" but dead economy, where your earnings are used to feed people who are lazy or are unable to work. The socialist government controls many aspects of your life, unlike what proper government should be doing- protecting you, not providing everything for you. (Cont.)

  • When people lose the love for personal responsibility, socialists agendas and governments are of course attractive and appealing. As I've said in an earlier reply, capitalism is not a social system, nor a political system, nor a philosophy, nor a religion; it is an economic structure. Every economic system requires capital, thus every nation in the world are, in a sense, "capitalists" countries.

Of course freedom is not a right; it is a priviledge. With freedom comes responsiblities!

  • wow i donb't even live in da usa but now i care about tha garbage?

  • My granma had a saying and she really did live by it, "waste not, want not"! My computer is 12yrs old and works ok,just starting to play uo but that one looked so much younger!Itis arrogance, you're right, but to use another old saying Pride goes before a fall, hat fall frightens me.

  • 10 years doing that u musta seen some interesting things ppl have just thrown away huh, tellu wat alot more interesting tha my job =], btw thanks for the friends invite

  • hey can i put my sister in there?

  • Lol she probably wouldnt like that very much.

  • no i dont think she would like it at all. but that wouldnt stop me ;)

  • Well, you can look at it as a problem or an opportunity to do something.

  • This video is vey TRUE! EVER!

  • wow. i've never seen it from that view before! i like how you put that together. very cool. makes you think. : )

  • nice

  • I MISS THIS VIEW!

  • Like the pace of this with the music! & the juice always puts them over the top! LOL I may send you a copy of the one I'm working on if I can ever get it together (it's juicy too) I shot most of it at a transfer station.

I remember when everybody around here had a 55 gallon burn barrel & a ditch somewhere to throw the stuff in that didn't burn. That wasn't good either! We have so much more volume coming out of ea house w/ all the snazzy packaging now - wasteful use of resources for sure.

  • We are suckers for convenience thats for sure, and though some say otherwise and pretend to care they are often not willing to make the effort to change.

  • nicely done, and you are right

  • Brilliant work... Ispired me to go to wal-mart and buy something on sale... but, everything was on sale! So I sat down and cried....

  • LOl,dont cry there little fella. When I feel like that at Wal-Mart I take my pants off and dive into the 5$ DVD bin.

  • Very messy with the squishy liquids!

  • Land of the free, home of the waste.

  • So true. I like the squishy liquid, adds a nice touch.

  • Its vegetable juice, Ill sell you some.

  • I love @ 52 seconds when the music and text stops and the viewer is given time to reflect. Awesome video.

    Winston

  • As long as the Planet lasts another 60 years I dont really give a shit.

    Good video.

  • Hehe not the best attitude but I like the honesty. There are plenty of people who feel like that but put on some kind of hypocritical BS front.Kinda like with religion.

  • Me too man i don't give a shit.Only thing i worry about is having enough to eat and water to drink. When i am gone the world will take care of its self.Hell it can't be fixed anyway too big of a mess.We can't afford gas like i am worried about what goes in landfills yeah right.

  • Yeah. I admit that American should copy some thing from Japan.

  • I for one know personally that perfectly good stuff is throwed out.I found a computer monitor one day 2 years ago checked it out it works great now i have a spare if mine goes out.I allways look around to see whats throwed out in front of peoples houses and i wanted a pair of garden hose to reach my garden in the back well you guessed it i found a very high quality hose just needed an end on been using it for like 3 years now.So waste yes but when i find it its nice and free. But too much wasted

  • Yeah, I find little things to take home here and there, but most of the time I have to trash it all.

  • great video man. like it how its in a fast forward way, if that makes sense! lol

  • makes the packer a little more lively

  • Theres gold n dim dare compooters. What a waste huh?

  • Ill be gallderned if it aint!

  • in this vid there is a story that counts for everyone i think . 5stars vid

    greest from holland, michael

  • Thanks for your vid. 5 stars.

  • reduse reuse recycle... usually never happens tho >.> im doing a speech on it and the research has really changed how I think about it all... another great video (Y)

  • preach on brother. thanks for another great vid and a good rant.

  • Good editing, good music, got some big words there :D Nice vid!

  • god you american's have alot of trash

  • Its particularly bad where I live, alot of places in the US are much more with the times.

  • garbage, garbage, garbage..the shit will never ever go away! Just like your videos, keep em coming...I need something to watch while I am eating supper!

  • Ill make one with lots of maggots in it, thats always good to watch during dinner.

  • Watching you use the famous poker-stick is freaking hilarious in fast-forward...LOL!

  • It's about that time, I think they are going to set fire to the skies!

  • another thing that gets me is people throwing trash in the green waste bins then they bitch cuase its not picked up and the driver says hye green waste only and they are like well it all goes in the same place

  • Did I see an apple pie in there, bro?

Hey, you know, I agree with everything you said in the vid.

Probably sort of off topic in a way, but you did say 'any thoughts', so:

I remember how on so many accounts, I'd be tipping a few cans of garbage, and on the same account, would then have to tip a few recycled cardboard cans. What is the point, I ask you?

Just makes me shake my head! And Joe and Jane, who are flattening out the cardboard, and putting it in there, think it's all being recycled!

  • ...

And at least where I live, they have a 'ban' on putting such things as cardboard boxes in the regular garbage cans, under penalty of getting a fine.

Kind of pisses me off that I KNOW better, and yet I could get fined for putting a square peg in a round hole.

And yes, folks, I do know that most of it gets recycled; I'm just focusing in on a small part of the picture that I have seen while on the job.

    etc, etc, etc.

  • that's because you live in Vancouver, I am in Abby here...cheers!

  • So true man, got your truck back finally!

  • Michigan has a nice recycling program, we however take all mixed trash from Indiana and Canada... Hard for me to give a damn about sorting when this dump hole state takes in everyone else's non sorted crap with warm open arms... Michigan SUCKS big time for governmental BS (too bad they can't sell it)

  • Canada does NOT send all mixed trash Canada has very good recyling and Toronto sends most of the trash from Canada.

    Yes I'm from Canada

  • No, there are still a few states like this and you would be surprised at how many that do recycle yet the hauler stills dumps the recyclables at the landfill!

I caught yet another truck last week (no, not a split body) collecting both regular trash and recyclables and I followed it straight to the landfill!

This really pisses me off after all the time people spend to sort, all the money spent to set up the separate bins, education and all then they just landfill it all anyways!

    All about profit!

  • That reminds me of the show "She's the Sheriff" where the same garbage truck was going down the street dumping all the recycle bins into the hopper right with the trash... It was a laughing joke on the show - but leave it to America to make even that come to a reality. Pathetic! (I complement you on your comment by the way)

  • They caught Waste Pro doing that here about a month ago. Dumping recycle bins with the trash. I don't think that trhey will be getting the contract next time lol.

  • Nice Eric! There are times when I'd like to take my own PC to work & run it through the compactor as well!

Squish,....Whew! If we ever get caught doing that by our Boss & CEO,...We'd get canned in a heart beat! No if ands or butts about it! It costs us money to landfill anything,...We make money processing & shipping it!

  • Yeah, I don't get it?

Why would they decide to collect the recyclables with the garbage and landfill it?

Either they are overloaded with recyclables (I know one collector here that told me this has happened to them), find it cheaper in the long run to so it all in one pass or they are just plain lazy.

All I know is that I am noticing this more and more and have followed them all the way to the dump a couple times now just to prove it to myself.

    Quite bizarre!

    Where do you work EMDF7?

  • Whoops! I missed this comment somehow!

I work for a family owned company out of Whitewater wi. Johns Disposal Inc.

  • Yeah, been checking out your videos.

Looks like a nice place to work!

  • wow nice job Eric keep up the great work 5 *

  • guess where he works is the only state that doesnt recycle and never will cause they dont give a shit about what goes into the landfills

  • We will get there...
