  • I can almost hear Hawkeyes cackle laugh during this.

  • why did they not leave the main building up tht woulda been really good.

  • very cool!

  • Very interesting, I really enjoyed that show when I was in high school.

  • The original "Planet of the Apes" and other 70s movie were filmed here as well. Thanks for the slideshow. Very interesting and entertaining!

  • The MASH set was destroyed by a wildfire that raced through the canyon on Oct 9, 1982, just as they were wrapping up the series. Watch the 2 hour final episode of MASH and you'll see where the fire damage was written into the script. The burned out jeep and ambulance were never removed.

  • Well done!! I can't believe that in all the years I lived in Southern California, I never visited that place. It's another on my list.

  • at 1:01 what is that jeep from? the mash movie or the tv series? what about the other jeep at 0:17.. whats that from?

  • Not sure. The jeep and ambulance were left behind on purpose when filming wrapped - so I assume they were last used in the series.

  • idk maybe they left em behind to she this is the spot were it was filmed

  • @mokwella why were they left behind?

  • @snipa66 For nostalgia for visitors like us. I'm pretty sure the jeep is the one Klinger tried to eat, thus the nostalgia.

  • Really good job. It's so sentimental ;-)

  • Great photos.

I really like that you used the extended pilot theme from the music.

  • Most people in Los Angeles don't know that MASH was filmed here in their backyard.
