I think it happens the same thing with Robbert Pattison and Kristen, people wants to believe that they are together because that would mean that the story about them is real.

These rumors started after brokeback mountain, people wants to believe he's gay or bi 'coz he did such great job at it or just because they want to believe the story was real... Btw, he`s so cute, so who doesn't fantasizes with him being gay.

Pretty self explanatory. He & Austin were together, but it wasn't good for his career. So if I cared about someone & just because they didn't feel that the way they loved would accepted career-wise, they dropped me--I'd be sad about their lack of honestly. Mostly about themselves.
