like national security and police, its better to take money makers out of it hand it over to the government chosen by us.
Sometimes I think, "socialist" paranoia is created by people who will loose billions with Universal health system.Federal Government is paying for majority of our medical bill anyways, via medicare.
Private insurances are just making money. BIG MONEY.
Love him or hate him you cant deny Michael moore picks out the issues people try to throw under the rug the man is fearless and thats what i respect about him
Yea that sons a douche, the parents arent even stayin with him and hes bitching, my dad would smack me across the mouth and remind me how many years he fed me. And Franks a fuckin boss, he shouldnt be workin, these two stories show what little arrogant pissheads we are in this country and how we treat our elders, its pathetic. Heres hopin Frank finds his golden years.
I often see too many old men like Frank, still working for the exact reasons he is.. doesn't make sense. At his age he should be resting, not working. :/
at 7:21....you can hear a weird EVP "you know who you are"......lol....yeah im a paranormal investigator with MPIS in Iowa.....so i can hear weird things in rather normal videos
@RYNO4880 Heard it too, but I think it's more of an editing issue rather than anything else, you can here for a friction of a second the sound cutting off and then cutting back in after the dialog finished
The exact same thing happens at walmart, I used to work there for maintenance. One of the guys working with me was around 60-70 years old and could hardly even walk. He had to climb into the trash compactor to clear it out, it was over 10 years old atleast and hardly even worked.
@xxxEmmureOwnxxx Get off your lazy ass, get a job at McDonalds, Wendy's, Burger King, a coffee shop or a supermarket - learn a trade. Get off your ass, stop complaining, and do something with your life. Complaining on YouTube is not your answer. Thanks.
@stfuplzzzz I've never had issues with my healthcare. Whenever I need it, it's there - and it's always worked for me so far. And Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck etc say that socialized medicine is socialist, which is true because it's "socialized" :P @xxxEmmureOwnxxx I don't mean to be rude, but keep looking and never give up in search for a job. Even being a cleaner is better than nothing. And finish college if you're already in it, and towards the end, opens more opportunities for you.
Competitive capitalism looks like a mark of the beast saved by works system, I mean how are we spposed to experience saving grace for eternal life when we have to slave away for "the greater good" throughout only a temporary life here on earth.
We need serious health care reform in this country. By leaving all the military bases in Europe and else ware. too much cost of having a military bases in foreign countries.
That 79 year old is hardcore. But seriously, should anyone have to work their entire life? Gives new meaning to the phrase "worked to death". Those of us that find youth on our side (im 28) may say "why not?". lets see if you are willing to make the same argument when you are 65+. Not all people will find themselves in the fortunate postition he is in with his comparatively good health. I've worked as an STNA and I have seen the the polar opposite of his health condtion. Not pleasant.
i can not help but think maybe this documentary is biased the people shown surely have to be the extreme cases its just to hard to believe even though we have the NHS over here i doubt that the private healthcare such as BUPA would be that expensive seen as you can get covered for £6 a month where do you get $12000 for a finger!!!
@Pewi6666 Because it's not the UK. I really, really doubt you'd find any healthcare insurance in America for the equivalent of £6. It's all about it being a whole other country, political system, economic system and stuff. Seriously, did you watch it all? Of course it's biased, Michael Moore is a strong minded documentary maker trying to prove a point - the American healthcare system damages and kills people. I'm eternally grateful for the NHS over here.
did u notice how in the beginning bush said "too many obgyn's cant share their love with women' i think if that happened a lot of women would be infected with aids. obgyn's should keep their love to themselves!!
Man i am so glad i am Australian!! here u have a choice to either pay for private or go to a public hospital wich in most caes are just as good..and dont cost a thing!!
How in the HELL was Bush allowed to stay president for so long?? Why was the Bush administration not overthrown. American citizens have a duty to stand up for their GOD GIVEN RIGHTS!!!!!!! Why would you allow this animal to manipulate and USE you for so many years???????. This situation is too depressing
@lambsquad17 Because so many americans are literally blinded by this "government". We literally live our lives basically forced to work to bring income to corporations that control our lives and the country. As long as the people in charge get paid, we get shit on and life becomes harder.
@lambsquad17 A lot of Americans, not all but most, are very naive. The government and the media is constantly pumping fear into their lives and so they blindly trust the government. Most believe that if they go against their government, they will have terrible lives. I've talked to Americans who are afraid of getting health care, like us Canadians, because they think they will end up living in a box on the street. I'm not saying that ALL Americans are like this. But most that I've met, are.
@melybee101 Sure he's probably an asshole but the stress of taking care of elderly parents is incredible... I've seen good people snap under the pressure. Plus it's terrible for their health.
So maybe his fuse is a little too short to begin with but come on, it's not easy to have to spend all your free time helping your parents out.

I mean, our health care in Canada isn't free, we pay for it with taxes, but you need to have some social safety net for those who cannot afford it.
