I love your Show man but what a great pod cast for something you think is wrong out there. I was pretty sheltered in my early years and i still haven't live as much as some people i know have, in certain ways. But learning to stand up for yourself and that pain isn't as bad as you think it is is a hard lesson; but a lesson we all need to learn at some point.

I'm glad my parents brought me up saying "if someone hits you, hit them back twice as hard". Going to an "authority" and getting them to deal with the problem is only making the victim weaker. Modern day teachings are poison, at least some people have the intelligence to see fault and question them.

Explained to me that if someone hit me, hit back, that nothing would happen. A few weeks ago a guy insult me​in the street and fend off the verbal assault, hit me, do not hit back at that time, but if we do not defend, the thing is repeated again and again.

My mother told me when I was young that I should never start a fight, but that if I had to I could finish it and that she would back me up all the way. :) LOL I never need to take her up on her offer, but I was nice to know that I was in control of my situation. That even when people were bullying me, I could stand up and take care of myself if I needed to.

Dude I COMPLETLY AGREE! Back in grade 8 this guy who bullied me ever since grade 5 decided he was going to go further than his ordinary hate comments on the way I looked or against my race and actually got physical with me. The only thing he didn't consider is that I may not be able to talk back, I can sure as hell fight back. Not once since then has he bullied me :)

Hell yeah! I agree! I have been out of highschool now for 6 years. I am a big dude. 6'3 260. I never had the whole bullying problem. Instead, I had to crack a few bullies that picked on the weird kid, geeky kid, small kid, or whatever. The best story was this wigger picking on this nerdy type girl. I jacked his shit up so bad. If you are strong enough to stand up for yourself, than be strong enough to stand up for the weak and downtrodden. Its ok to do that. It feels good to be someone's hero.

I remember when i was bullied, i tried to take the diplomatic route. I told the teachers, i told my parents who told my teachers, the teachers were like "OH we will take care of it!" what did they do?.. JACK SHIT! So what happend when i finally thought back? All of a sudden I was the back guy, not them.

It lasted four years, then my mother more or less forced the state to allow me to change school and not a single day passes without me being thankfull for that! :D

Consequences are apart of life. If the bully comes back with a friend, what makes it any different from the same bully coming after you day after day if you didn't fend for yourself? They're both consequences, one for doing something, the other for nothing. At LEAST when fighting back, you have the satisfaction of knowing you've done SOMETHING that perhaps can stop this.

Although I think that you should not immediately fight back, give the guy the benefit of the doubt first, then whoop his ass.

The bad part about my school is that if you tell the faculty they say theyll take care of it, but yet they never do. and yet when you finally beat the kid up who has bullied you for so long you get suspended and not him. Moral of the Story: Dont fight in school, but do fight on the Bball court outside of school.

Love the video and the message that no one has the right to make you feel inferior - to insult you for whatever reason and hurt you for their own pleasure but a blanket statement to fight back isnt the answer, just as saying to take it and wait for an authority to sort it out - every situation is different but ultmately every person is different and anyway they react is right by them and not told how to

@Dixavd I for instance am a hippocrite in that I will not condone violence in any of the sort but ultimately if someone will wish to hurt me I will take it only thankful they chose to hrut me and not someone else, but then contradictory to my first statement; as soon as someone turns to hurt soemone else (whoever it is - even if they have bullied me in the past) I will stand up and fight for them - I will force the others to attack me and not them.

Hi Jace - this is really topical in Australia at the moment, not sure if you have seen the vid of the bigger kid getting bullied by the younger guy in an Australian school. I don't condone violence but I believe in a person's right to defend themselves. Well said :) love your work.
