But i say mainstream music is whats popular. when i type in "the black" in the search bar and music like the black keys comes up before music like the black eyed peas, its getting popular. in the 80s, glam was mainstream. even though it kills people to say it, in the 90s (early) grundge was mainstream. You are right though, they do have a sound other "mainstream music" doesnt..

Very talented lads & good good attitude towards performing (sound checks etc).

Try these bands out: Jack White (who is in rock bands The White Stripes, The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather), Graveyard, Radio Moscow, Witchcraft, Asteroid, High On Fire, Tame Impala and The Kills. As for solo artists, try Joe Bonamassa and Gary Clark Jr.
