I´m on law school in Portugal, my first year, but I am going to dropout. I don´t really like studying the Law that much, the work never ends (if you want to have good grades, obviously; and the way the work market is, only graduates with good marks get jobs), it is definitely one of the hardest course that is, and there are little jobs left out there, either here or in other countries.

My recommendation: Unless your one dream job is to become a lawyer, don´t go to Law school.

Woah, that's crazy dude! The key to studying law is just take it easy. You really don't have to memorize all that crap, just understand the concepts and you can be done. I hate law school though, it does eat up your time and you will have little to no life :(

i`m attanding law school in Ljubljana, Slovenia....its one of the best and hardest law school in the world, but a like it, and i`m so glad and happy that i`m studying law:)

I'm a 1L. This is so true, but don't take it too seriously. Law school is doable as long as you are genuinely interested in the law and are somewhat intelligent. Be prepared to be humbled, though.

@chris84bloom I had the same problem as you do: I´m 18 on my first year of Law school, and during high school I always thought I wanted to become a lawyer, but now that I had a taste of what the course is, and what my life as a lawyer might be, I dont want it anymore. And no, "life is life" is not a reason that justifies taking up a career you dont want. Life is quick, and to spend it doing something you dont want, thats just dumb.

If he thinks being a law student is tough, he probably can't imagine how hard it is to be a lawyer without a job and with student loan debt. Since the law schools are producing three times as many attorneys as what the economy needs, a huge number of JD graduates are going to end up impoverished.
