  • nice thanks. needed this !

  • thank you for your video, helped me so much :)

  • This subject matter applies to .002% people in the world. Most people don't know what coil overs are and when he uses the word 'weight' it confuses things even more.

This is aimed at those who are club racers and tune their suspensions for different tracks.

  • @alwaysopen Not so, it would be good for "tuners" and "ricers" as they turn the preload all the way up(turn the spring all the way up) its a good learning video

  • @skater4circa940

You are correct about the idiots who dime their shit all the way. It's supposed to be resilient which those fools don't understand.

  • @Sandeep9201 if you race AutoX/ track, yes.otherwise no.

  • question are they set all the way down or is this stock ride height

  • my collars were on tight and i think i was trying to loosin them the wrong way wound up stripping the collar notches! good times!

  • good video +

  • i want to do a question here.

To adjust the height, should I must untie the suspension apart from the driveshaft? Or it doesn't matter. I mean how to screwed the bottom part into the coil part - column without make remove the suspension from the driveshaft. I can not undearstand that. and in this video is not make clear that point.

  • nice video man thanks!

  • blablablablablabla

  • Thanks, this vid should help!

  • can tighting the collars under the spring to much cause "clunking noise"

  • You need to disconnect your swaybars before starting as they will weight jack the corners as you adjust ride height . Once your happy with the corner weights & ride height , re-connect the swaybars & adjust them for neutral loading . You need to get someone to help as you need to be sitting in the car when you adjust the swaybars ( unless you used dummy weight in the drivers seat)

  • to much words !!

  • Great video. Thanks, bro!

  • get some HKS hipermax rs coilovers, i got some on my evo and thare the best coils ive ever seen.

oh and nice vid i just put mine in myself thx for the vids

  • good video

  • great video man, I just installed megans on my ride, you help me out a lot :D

  • these are really informative videos, good job on the sound and instructions. easy to follow along...hopefully my adjustments go well! thanks for takin time to post these.

  • What if you run a rake setup? Does that effect the percentage dramatically?

  • Hey mate,

Great video, very informative. We appreciate your expertise down here in Australia.

    Thanks

  • how do i raise my coilovers? it has 2 perches instead of 3. i probably have the older model.

  • Man, I wish I lived next door to you, that way, if I need help with anything, I can just ask you! :)

  • Now, now... I'm no rocket scientist. Just an engineer.

  • Engineer is good enough for me!

  • @AutoXer what kind of engineer

  • @driftking11013 BSEE with a PE

  • @Racr4Lyfe All that is, is a basic knowledge of suspension, thats why when your "tuning" buddies roll around in thier superlow cars an they bounce all over the damn place its cause they have there preload all the way up."turning the coil all the way up"

  • thanks for taking the time out of your life to put these great videos together!

  • great informative videos! really enjoyed watching and learning! my coilovers seem to work exactly the same as yours, same number of turn things and thread. i want to lower my rear a little, but all 3 turn things sit on top of each other at the lowest point possible. so in my head im thinking, ill need shorter springs to make this adjustment? am i right?

  • if im not mistaken the whole black circlar thing moves

  • I'll try to help if you can be a little more specific. Where is the "turn thingy" on your ooilovers?

  • i think he means that he only has the spring seat and seat lock like tein super streets.

btw, you're videos are very informative although here in the philippines we can't rent load scales and getting this done costs a lot.

  • how do you adjust a coilover that only has one of those turn thinggies?? i want to raise mine up a little. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!
