R.I.P. was AWESOME. i'm gonna pick the trade, the hardcover, the second printing, the single issues that im missing, everything (ok maybe just the trade). But the point is, Morrison always knows what he's doing, and im sure you guys know that, so why would you want to do that? R.I.P. has been amazing, and you can't say it did not make sense. It makes helluva lot of sense. Whats more, its AWESOME

I totally agree with you guys on RIP. DC should have renamed Batman: Final Crisis. I would pick up that title instead of Batman RIP. After reading the Batman titles, I now understand what is happen to Batman. Also, great reviews on Thor and New Avengers.

P.S. Can not wait for the Blackest Night!!! After finishing the recent GL books, GL is becoming one of many favorite comic characters like Batman, Spiderman, and Wolverine.

Morrison's Batman run has been great and makes total sense to me. I get all of the time jumps. I love that Batman is tying in to Final Crisis which is also great and makes total sense to me. It makes FC seem more relevant since there aren't a lot of tie-ins to FC.

New Avengers was good. I was afraid it would be boring but it wasnt. I am kind of sick of seeing Norman Osborn already.

could you guys review ultimatium 2. I need to know im not the only one who hates it. More FC titles too.

Guys, good call on DC messing up on Batman RIP. I read an interview with Dan Didio where he pretty much admitted that RIP was marketed the way it was in order to package it for the trade paperback without having to include Final Crisis #6 as part of the deal. Because of that, not only am I giving up on DC but monthly books as well. I mean, if that's the editorial mindset these days, why fight it? I'll just buy trades from now on.

Im glad Morrison is off the title, while i really enjoyed some of his run, i didnt care for most of it, especially that awful bombardment of serial killer cliches that he calls The Joker. Its a shame the magic he had on All Star Superman was not present on his Batman run.

Oh and 2009 is definitely going to belong to Green Lantern, Blackest Night looks so promising

The whole R.i.P arc was a fucking train reck and the last two issues was pointless. I'm glad that Grant is off the book and I hope that he doesn't come back any time soon.

The only thing that really fell flat and kinda ruined the otherwise good issue of new avengers for me was Iron Fist's non-reaction to Luke and Jessica saying the baby was missing. It would have been much better if he had been like... "guys I need to quit... WHAT baby missing, (calls misty and colleen) lets go look." Then next issue when people realize Luke's defected, he then leaves without looking like an idiot (and giving some good plot points over to the Iron Fist book)

i thought that the dark avengers were norman osborn's team that would enforce the initiative.

and at the end of the issue luke agrees to sign up with initiative to get his baby back. so the entire issue didn't not have anything to do with civil war.
