Indian foreign reserve is 287 billion and gold reserve of is 557 tons
pakistans foreign reserve is 16 billion and gold reserve is 65tons it has nothing to do with gdp tax ratio as it will increase the public debt the only way to counter it is increase exports and decrease imports.

Two simple exmaples.Ppl living with less than 2 $(60%in pk vs 76% in India) or the fact India is always in a much worse position in the Hunger Index than of Pk.
Both countries have still a lot to do to in order to give a decent conditions of life to common poor man.
