And just using logic...I'm going to go ahead and say he probably didn't cut his femoral because if he did there is absolutely no way he would have made it that long without bleeding out or at least passing out...Oh wait, I'm also a medic so just maybe I have at least a small understanding of the human body and truama. the 2nd largest blood vessel in the human body is in the leg (femoral) cut it and you can bleed out into your own leg and die with in minutes. the jagged edge of the broken bone can cut it with out even a scratch on the outside of your leg.

Love all of your stories about how tough you because you kept riding after breaking bones...that's great and you're awesome for it...but it was kind of hard for to go anywhere on her own with a rib sticking into her left lung...breathing is kind of important!!!

I broke my arm in half had a second elbow haha and i rode back to camp and didnt even think of calling i was 100 mile to the nearest hospital and it was fun driving back going about a 120 haha got there in 45 min. now thats good time! But surgery sucked. 2 days after the hospital i rode my 450 with a full cast hahaha PROPS TO ( ogschizo )

I broke my legs snowboarding and drove 60 miles for 2.5 hours the weather was so bad to get to the ER. I would have called it in, flagged her, and continued riding. Props to this guy below me for being a real man also.

That was weak as hell, so what were the injury's? oh a bruised ego and a sprained wrist.

I crashed my zx6r streetbike over 100 miles from the hospital, broke my right arm, right leg, had a concussion and numerous roadrash. Then rode on the back of my dads bike all the way to the ER...

and it didnt cost taxpayers 20 thousand dollars

holy crap reminds me of my endo on my banshee memorial day 08. similar terrain, flat dirt standing up, 6th gear--around 50+ mph. hit a little rut and almost the exact same type of insta-flip. i had max gear on and only had a broken ankle but my helmet, goggles, pads and one boot were a total loss. hey don't quit riding girl, put some pro-gear on and get back on that pony!
