with the "no color" system....the "cue source" button (on top of the main fades) is how you pre listen to your music before playing....there are 2, one for the left and one for the right......while playing the left....set up a song on the right and keep the main fader down/off for the right(nonactive side) and push the "cue source" button....now click play

yep its a fact. people who have fun and share their hobby with others will not only probably be better but they will be better liked. i had a blast the other day playing on a all in 1 numark cd mixer system at a buddys house. haveing fun and teaching others is the key to getting good along with practice practice practice.

it sounds a little rough now but honestly 3-4months of spinning ur doin fine. in another 3 months u will laugh at how far u have come.

check what your channel says under the config menu, i have my speakers hooked up to channel one and for cueing i have that coming out of channel two. check your settings

I have the same program. by the way good, mixes but instead of playing a lot with the pitch control i usually drop the next track in then hit SYNC this bring both in sync with the bpm .. super easy sometimes it my need extra tweaking ...thats when i play with the pitch. House is one of the easiest.. Keep spinning

thank you. if you purchased the numark dj io which is a sound card for the total control, since the total control has no way on plugging in headphones directly to the controller, you will be able to listen to the songs that you are mixing in before the crowd hears what you are playing next, on the top right and top left there is a button PFL which is for previewing songs, the total control will automatically do that for you sometimes, check out my latest video called explaing the DJ IO

The Mixed In Key software is great; however, it is not free to download. The lighted keyboard on my comp is awesome in a dark room or if you're on a dark stage.
