@rockerGirl101666 Thats not true. Read the paper on the inside of tampon boxes. The only way that would happen is if you like didn't clean your vagina. And the only really bad disease you can get is TSS. But it's very rare.

@Hidden: I know this post is older but I had to correct your obvious ignorance. You're not supposed to clean your vagina. That is very bad for you and can cause severe vaginal infections. Your body has its own cleaning process that keeps your vaginal ph levels where they are supposed to be. Tampons can cause TSS, not because your vagina is "dirty" (how silly), but because tampons, moreso than pads, can be a prime breeding ground for bacteria and fungi and must be changed often.

I know that vaginas clean themselves out but when you're in the shower I would hope that most people use a bit of soap and wash their area so it doesn't smell like a fucking fish.
