You're right, jessecrx! Racer X IS cooler than James Bond!! I wonder how he became a Secret Agent without revealing his real name! Speed may have the cooler car with all the gadgets, but Racer X is the cooler character!! He's dark/mysterious, rather than candy-coated!!

Good point.

But keep in mind that Peter Fernandez was given really rough script translations so he was solely responsible for filling in the details. Not only that, but he was only given a few episodes at a time to work on so he never knew that Racer X was his brother Rex Racer until later on in the series.

Perhaps it was a detail lost in translation. Part of me wishes to see this series uncensored and properly translated but then again I think it'll taint my memories lol!
