Thanks for the insightful comment. I really can't get started on the media; just too much wrong to zero in on any one particular thing. Very good point about the reporters and the editors. It's the owners and creators of capital that decide what goes on the air. I certainly don't think it would be a mistake to reinstate the fairness doctrine, though that's not a cure-all.
Channel 4 gave this guy about 13 seconds of screen time. Contrast that with a 3 minute vignette on the resurgence of crock-pot usage and about 5 minutes dedicated to how the hair styling industry is booming during these hard times and you have a local media that is demonstrably full of shit. I can't blame the reporters. They know the score. It's the goofball right-wing editors (pimps) who decide on broadcast content.
Good job, Riley! I just read an article in the Post and Courier about the OWS in Charleston. 95 comments to date...almost all of them negative. I'm not surprised, however, as most of the consumers of the P&C and other local media are being fed, hook, line, and sinker a complete load of crap. They are too stupid and self-absorbed to see anything beyond their own nose...frogs in boiling water.

Anyway, thanks and we'll be in touch...
