i take the big ten by a small amount, baised soley on experience and florida and alabama losing alot of starters. followed very closely by the SEC. then i take the Pac 10 who needs to step it up at the end of the year. the pac ten got embarassed in the bowls, but could easily end up #1. ACC is next, in football they take the SECs scraps and it showed during the bowls. Big 12 is next, they are the wild card of the year. MW is 6th and the god awful big east is last.

Iowa led 31-0 after three quarters and South Carolina only scored against the second, third, and fourth stringers of the Hawkeyes. I think maybe Iowa and Northwestern should have switched bowls, that way the Wildcats could have beaten South Carolina and the Hawkeyes could have mopped up Missouri, giving the Big Ten two bowl wins in 2008 at least.

He hit the QB with HIS ARM, there was no helmet to helmet contact at all, which is what was called. 2. the next day ESPN said that he was ONSIDES on the onside kick. 3. The sideline rule was created after this season, thats why the announcers were all over it sherlock.

The most horrid officiating I have ever seen in my life. The NCAA should of apologized to the University of Iowa for the refs in this game. This is an example of a team winning a game because of the officiating. I cannot believe that this type of officiating was even condoned. i take the big ten by a small amount, baised soley on experience and florida and alabama losing alot of starters. followed very closely by the SEC. then i take the Pac 10 who needs to step it up at the end of the year. the pac ten got embarassed in the bowls, but could easily end up #1. ACC is next, in football they take the SECs scraps and it showed during the bowls. Big 12 is next, they are the wild card of the year. MW is 6th and the god awful big east is last.

Iowa led 31-0 after three quarters and South Carolina only scored against the second, third, and fourth stringers of the Hawkeyes. I think maybe Iowa and Northwestern should have switched bowls, that way the Wildcats could have beaten South Carolina and the Hawkeyes could have mopped up Missouri, giving the Big Ten two bowl wins in 2008 at least.

He hit the QB with HIS ARM, there was no helmet to helmet contact at all, which is what was called. 2. the next day ESPN said that he was ONSIDES on the onside kick. 3. The sideline rule was created after this season, thats why the announcers were all over it sherlock.

And, all I can say is, i hope Florida isn't proud of getting this win because this was pathetic. Announcer's aren't supposed to argue about referee calls, but this announcer just couldn't hold it in after the fourth or fifth rediculous call in the game. The H2H, Facemask, and onside-kick offsides were OBVIOUSLY fixed calls or retarded calls made by retarded refs. Either way, I hope those refs were banned from college sports.

This is an example of a team winning a game because of the officiating. I cannot believe that this type of officiating was even condoned. Just watched the IU/Iowa game, and the refs in that game were horrible, possibly cost IU momentum/ and a chance at holding on to win, but....
This game here was absolutely comical, if I were an IOWA fan I would have broken my tv and still possibly could be in jail. Got to have the "usual" winners win i guess. The only reason Arkansas, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Tennessee don't seem to be any good is because there being beat by top 10 teams in their own conference. If they were to play in the Big Ten they would be the top teams to beat. So I guess congrats on beating Arkansas State, Iowa State, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn State and Northern Iowa.

@UFGatorsChomp81 Iowa dominated G-Tech in the Orange Bowl, we beat Arizona who is 1 of the top teams in the PAC-10, Wisconsin had a 10 win season and beat Miami in their bowl game, Penn State beat LSU in the Capital One Bowl, and LSU was 1 of Florida's big wins, Penn State also finished with 11 wins, Iowa State beat Nebraska, who was dominating defensive football, they also were in the Big 12 Championship and almost beat Texas, Iowa also lost to NW and Ohio St. cause of the starting QB's injury.

This is ridiculous man. This is just as bad as the Florida - Arkansas game this past Saturday. I've always disliked UF just for the reason that everyone favors them even tho they aren't a very good football team. Play a real damn team and then talk smack. Oh yea, and don't pay the refs to bail you out every time you think your going to lose.

Hey i'll give you credit for beatin gus in 2003 but we had Ron Zook. He was a terrible coach and recruited crappy players. If you would've faced us with Spurrier or Meyer than the game would;ve been much different. But kudos to you for beating us one time. ZAs a Gator fan i'll even admit we sucked that year and all the years Zook was HC. He was a joke and look where he is now in the Big Ten @ the U. of Illinois. He's only won like 25% of his games there.

I woudln't wanna play Iowa in the BCS National Championship although ehsraiderz would like to. If your going to be in the BCS NC than you should be good not lucky. Iowa isn't a top 10 team although the AP says so and thats only because there 7-0 against Big Ten teams. The Big Ten is a weak conference....even Ohio State sucks this year. Wow your big win is against Penn State, thats it?! They were dominated by USC last year, i'm far from impressed by any team in the Big Ten conference. Good Luck!

LSU is a fraud, doesn't deserve a top 15 rankings.
You have NO non-conference BCS games in your schedule, so we have no idea how good you are. You can't claim you deserve your ranking by one game (LSU). Prove to the voters you're #1, you already lost many AP because of your non-dominant play style like everyone is use to.
You can at least admit, Iowa has done better then you expected. Even in the big ten is garbage.

ha, the only thing better about florida is the weather, they suck at everything else. Refs screw games up all the time. Teams get screwed one game, and get bailed out the next. It all evens out in the end (except for Iowa, you guys are f*cked for life, ha ha ha).
