My brother drives a shortbus for a " 'Tard Farm " in Santa Crude. (I know, not PC, but that's what the staff members call it.) On one of their outings to go play mini-golf or whatever, he made them listen to The Pod on the way, and when "Laura" came on they started such a brawl that he had to pull the bus over so the "Counsellors" could subdue the "Consumers". (That, apparently, is the PC term. May as well just call them "Food Tubes".) Proof that not all Ween fans are retards, and vice-versa. :D
one time i was at a shitty kegger with a live band that sucked and i yelled this song out as a request, but they ignored my cry. right after yelling, some dude lured me out of the crowd with his finger and then, once we were outside, he proceeded by taking his shirt off without having said a single word to me by that point. he showed me a tattoo of boognish on his back. well, i had a 30 min convo withhim bout ween and that's the only good thing i can say happened at that shitty party
This has gotta be one of my absolute favorites. A masterpiece. I have a 4 trk cassette recorder and have been trying to make something like this for yrs. I have a song called "Whatever". The ending is based on this song. Not directly, But this song inspired it for sure.
