  • I went on this and some ignorant bastard was messing with the buttons on my turn, that pissed me off.

  • I played it when I went there on Thursday the graphics are frikin awesome and if your waiting for a long time there are 2 more outside

  • @375pet Exactly they say its not working even though they ain't pushed the fricking lever foward! bloody morons, they shouldn't let them in to the simulator.

  • Well done to all those who built the simulator, and also towards TfL :)

  • I spent ages at home trying to get the same files to get the underground lines for openBVE, after going there and teling people how to use them - and used them myself. - how do you get all of the lines to work - I noticed u have to downlo0ad TAO framework and dll files and loads more!

  • @Computerhelp92 I can also imagine the 5-yr old screaming brat screaming to it's mother because 'the train broke', wile violating my ear drums. SQUISH IT THEN LOL.

  • @Reddog785 Im 11, and I know how to drive?

  • @ARF1LMS I'm the same age too, us pre - teenagers are much more mature than "kids".

  • @secondlifeundergroun I know. Adults forget that actually some of us tweens are actually educated and not spoilt little brats. They also forget some of us do have the interlectual interlect to be able to drive a simulator tube train.

  • That looks awesome..and so much more realistic than the original BVE..is it an updated version especially for the museum? It looks fantastic

  • yeahh its a bit bashed up now aswell, but at least it still works lol

  • Everytime I go LTM, i just hang around the simulator. Its awesome but people get angry when the train doesnt move...

  • Stupid Kids, They overun the stations!

  • Yup. Two years ago when I went to LTM I saw a few 7 year old kids driving the Northern Line route thing. They FAILED completely. ^^ they couldn't even brake correctly and remember how to use the safety switch thing (SIFA i think its called)

I was about 10 years old at that time and since I played BVE for about a year they got pwned badly.

  • Wow, a special type of BVE.

Because on the PC or laptop you download it click the BVE4 or BVE 2 icon and done.

  • The guy behind the camera sounds like a whingy little baby

  • is the BVE simulator an exhibit or will it be there pertinently?

  • I was here 2 weeks ago! I like that museum!

  • sounds like a job for you guys to get the actual panel working, bit of programing won't hurt :D

  • its harsh but its true, its a pain having 2 show the kids how 2 start the train, and im 14 and im saying that!

  • yeh this is really interesting guys, im a regular visitor 2 this place and im usually the 1 thts showing all the others how 2 work the train!

can u get this bve software 4 use @ home cuz im a lover of trains

  • does anyone know what company makes hardware interfaces like that?

  • Whats The Music Called?

  • I don't know the name of the music but a guy called Johnathan Slatter wrote it for Video 125's Driver's Eye View of the Jubilee Line from Stanmore to Stratford.

  • Anyone can work on the London Underground it's not that hard, all yeah gotta do is just move yeah right arm up and down lool, Great job though and Pay.

  • your driving is cool but the way, ive been to the museum and i love the jubilee line simulator also the northen line ones are good to but sick dtiving!!

  • I went in the december 2007 Xmas holiday and when I was waiting for my turn on the big simulator, it was a northern line route, not a jubilee line route, but when the young children finished their turn, they were not hogging it, their parents would always be with them and they would say to their young children "let this young man have a go now" and they would, I'd drive the train for 2 or 3 stops before letting someone else have a turn. I even done pretend PA's on PA system.

  • Nice to play BVE in the real Cab !!!

  • Kids are always on that, i was waiting in a que and i was next, then a little git ran over and got on it, then even more kids, i was waiting a 1 hour and then a family took over it, both jubilee and the little northern line one, little bastards!

  • God helps us, it runs on Windows. That should stay stable for around four days then. when will people learn that anything more that Word and Windows crashes.

Why did you not use a projector to throw the image in front of the glass?

  • app, windows xp is better than vista or anything else so you can calm that.

  • They didn't use a projector because the windows are not windows. They are just holes for a screen to fit in. At the front of the mock-up there is a short section of track with lights saying "These rails can kill" and a buzzing sound. It is a way to walk around the sim instead of going through it and disturbing everyone.

  • oh wow! i'm gonna make my mum and dad take me there...

i remember the old transport museum. i can't wait to see the new one!

  • i went on this and some chavs threw me off without asking. surprisingly they were hogging it for about 10 minutes and there was a bunch of people waiting. second time i got on all these 8 year olds were saying "ur doing it wrong". LTM should have a timer and a queue for people to abide by, cos at this rate nobody can be left in peace to do it by themselves, get told "can my son have a go now please" and can't get on the simulator for 2 minutes without being thrown off by chavs.

  • I agree, thats the reason I haven't been able to have a go yet.

  • I agree aswell, i had a similar situation at magna(sheffield) where with the steel magnet exibit loads of kids were pushing in, and eventually when it was my turn some kid pushed in front and my gran said"Excuse me, my grandson was here first, wait your turn!" and the parent looked at us with a startled look. Hope it dosn't happen to me when i go there. Gr8 vid 5*

  • @Leylandbasher

Kudos to your gran - Mine would spill blood if I was in that situation too.

  • @StapledNote LTU Have now placed a timer on it.

  • I actually feal abit jealous by watching him drive that realistic simulator, Lol:)

  • A deadhead view would have displayed a more

realistic effect. Note how the "train" is

    traveling sideways. Otherwise, great effort.

  • How is it traveling sideways?

  • Do you have to pay to play on the simulators?

if so let me know how much

  • No charge to actually play on it, but you have to the pay admission fee to get into the museum.

  • dam, them kids are so annoying >:( i went there today, and there were school trips and that, i didnt mind all the tiny kids on there but all 5 year olds just like hog it, there on there for ages, and I didn't bother going on it in the end, looked really good aswell.

  • Sounds like a typical 5-year-old. I bet their parents say "But they're only children!". I'm 12, but I would just do one spin on the Jubilee, the section that is in the sim, it's very short.

  • yeah, "because there children" isn't really an excuse to be hogging it for ages ;) i'm only 13 so I wouldn't be the best at that simulator

  • I'd be good at it mostly, but I'm dreadful at stopping...

  • I went there today, and the 5-year-olds weren't exactly hogging it - but when I sat down to drive they were all hanging around saying 'you do it like this' etc. Their technique for stopping was to slam on the emergency brakes as soon as the train was in the right place to stop. By forcibly moving my hand, they made me overrun two stations. Grr...

  • tell them to piss off lol

  • @wigwags4ever Yeah, could only do one stop because there were loads of annoying little kids in front of the screen, and they were continually pushing the TBC into the brake position. I'd only got to the first signal and one boy's mum asked me to get up because her little son wanted to have a go. Disgusting.

  • I hope they put an age limit on there cos the TBC is wearing out, like 10+ I am 13 and find those little kids really anoying but the prob is if you do that the LTM will have complaints soi's a no win scenario

  • Nice one kelvin.

  • looks like great work guys i be seeing it soon

  • WOW!!:o those GRAPHICS are AMAZING, feels like your driving the REAL routexD

    cant wait for the release

    Keep up the gd work:P

  • great~! You are one of the members, right?

So which part(s) of the project do u handle?

  • Yes. I handle almost the entire Jubilee Line.

  • im going to london how much is it to drive it for how long and do you have to reserve it?

  • You pay the normal entry fee for the museum. The mock up is part of the exhibits, so no reservation is needed, but beware of kids hogging on it for an hour!

  • do all of the buttons work now?

  • great~! You are one of the members, right?

So which part(s) of the project do u handle?

  • great~! You are one of the members, right?

So which part(s) of the project do u handle?

  • Oh, that's wonderful... The graphics are so photorealsitic, it's as if I'm completely immersed into that atmosphere myself! :)

  • Can't wait to try those! What is the music at the beginning?
