Reminds me of when I was stationed in Germany,all our mess hall workers besides the cooks were Turks,morrocans,and the like.(1975). Lot of Arabians too! @aznsuperhero7 they for sure aren't considered islanders, this refers mostly to people from places like samoa, palau, and guam. filipinos are technically asian, but the country is kinda separated from the rest of asia you know? so they're sort of in a group of their own... but to answer your question, if they're filling out a form like for a census or standardized testing they put asian always, whoever doesn't is just weird

Apart from lacking any aesthetically pleasing features, they're also seriously lacking in the personality department. After spending 6 months in Seoul, I can safely say that the typical Korean is ugly, boring and insecure.

Japan brought civilization to Korea (1905-1945), which is not that long ago. Given time, I'm sure they'll improve - at least in the personality department.
