  • cute!

  • wow that ball python just shed nice and easy...

  • does that snake have the bluish eyes?because thats what i heard what happens to them before shed.

  • ANSWER QUICKLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

  • That python you've got seems pretty adept at shedding.Do you have any tips on how to make it a perfect shed almost every time as mine has had some trouble shedding and it comes of in patches and some of the old skin is left on the python. Also, do you have any idea how to get the old skin off?And the final question, when my python sheds next, would it be possible that the old skin left on from this shed come off aswell as the skin from the next time it sheds?Reply quickly please.

  • too sick!!!

  • while watching this i glanced over at my tank and noticed my baby rubbing its nose on a log, charlie looks about ready to start

  • i've muted the sound and watched so my parents won't think im gay.

  • What does the finished shin look like?

  • is it normal for a ball python to shed in pieces rather than the whole skin coming off as one? because my normal ball has been doing that for a long time ever since i got him when i was 12 now im 15 and i think he shed whole only once im not sure cus i havent seen him or talked to my dad about him in so long but is that normal? please help me

  • lucky my python shedded in his water bowl in the middle of the night and all his skin was in a ball and all wet

  • what was the humidity please i really need to know oh and the temperature

  • @mrWooooooo456 when my snake is going to shed i usualy turn the tempature a little higher and the humidity between 70 and 80

  • my ball python is shedding right now. first time seeing it very cool

  • can you handle the snake straight after shedding?

  • Awesome Video.

    Ek het dit nogals geniet.

    Kannie wag vir myne nie!

  • that really is a gorgeous snake, love the way the colours just get so much brighter.

  • it looks so uncomfortable at the beginning! it wanted to help it so badly, but that's probably not good for the snake huh? TTnTT so cute everytime it yawned.

  • Fab video mate, and a beautiful ball 8) my one (minky) sheds pretty well but could learn a thing or two here!! lol

  • eww what do you do with the skin afterwards?

  • Dam Healthly Snake you got there one full good shed dam my rat almost did a full but stoped about 3/4th my Bp normal is sheding & didnt do to go well or so he just started today & He is in a tub so the humd isnt high enough hopefuly tmmrw he breaks out he only got the face off & Thats it.

  • so beautiful x

  • How old was your snake when you first got it...

  • if u have a snake u will know its shedding cuz it will rub its body on something rough

  • my snake is ready to shed but the skin wont break wat should i do

  • @unalphabet Spray Water Onto the snake & Raise the humidity then the skin will get very wet & when it drys it will be easyer to fall off./peel off for the snake.

  • just wondering how often should a normal royal python shed its skin

  • They Look Beautiful after they shed =D

  • is it true that if it doesnt shad right that you can put it in a damp pillow case for 20 mins?

  • @kaleluk31 It is true. MAke sure you put the snake somewhere warm once in the pillowcase, as it can get cold easy. Also make sure you tie the pillowcase so the snake doesn't escape while you aren't looking (won't hurt the snake).

  • Amazing video, I've never seen one that caught the part where they rub their nose on things to break open the skin. Thank you for posting. :)

  • what an inferior pet. Its called a dog get one people.

  • @cwood4ever What an inferior and stupid comment. It's called personal preferences, people have those cwood.

  • @Zipperlepsy HA HA HA

  • my ball python is stupid he dont rub his face on the branches or his hide out.... i have to helped him today

  • That's awesome how long does it take them to fully shed??

  • that's some neat shedding!!

  • My red tail boa is the laziest shedder! It takes about 3 weeks for him to fully shed from start to finish! lol.

  • uhhh... that looks like it hurts!

  • amazing vid. ive never seen a snake shed before. its amazing. nice looking royal python x

  • im not completely sure, but i think your snake is sick( ill) because it open its mouth way to much, that mean it can breath very well by his nastrals....you should ask a vet...nice vid tho

  • @foowfy82 i was about to say the same :)

  • my ball python isnt shedding. it has to, but the skin is just falling off, its nottrying to get out if it. it has fallen off so mch that i can see his entire backside of his new skin. what should i do?

  • OMG Way Awesome footage u captured yh 5/5 nice ball python by the way

  • awesome video; nice snake too .. how big?

subbed you too .. keep em coming

  • dats not a ball phyton..dats a pyhton of the balls

  • awsome vid man

  • a ghost! :D

  • such a nice ball python

  • thats cool he looks so cute!

  • Yeah like slightly more then halfway down to the tail and he just lets it go I have had two about 1 inch long dukes and alot of pee. Generally if a week goes by and I dont smell anything from the cage I know he is about to shed. Well that and the dull coloration of the skin.

  • xxxXXX grim if your snake's skin is comming off in pieces this is a sign that there is a humidity problem. Chances are you don't have enough humidity in the cage. Just get a good sized mister from Lowe's or Home Depot garden shop I got mine for like $7.95 and a hydrometer from any pet store that sells anything to do with reptiles and keep the humidity between 65% and 70%. Durring shedding this is very important. If you keep it between those two everything should be fine.

  • Generally the eyes go grey then white as a sheet of paper then back to their normal black then off the skin comes. It takes approximately 5 days from start to finish for my ball to complete the shed cycle. Also I dont know if anyone else's ball does this but get ready to clean that cage when they are done shedding mine use's the bathroom HEAVILY halfway through the skin removal process.

  • Mine does too xD

  • Hi do u have a python if u do may i ask u some question msg me or gave me ur yahoo acount name so i can ask u some question because i need some help thx bro.

  • awsome vid dude!

  • I have a pretty old python and he doesn't usually like to shed by himself and when he sheds it doesn't come off as a single skin it like flakes off, what do i do?

  • wut happenes if u pull the skin urself

  • it could hurt the snake and damage the new skin unless its a stuck shed meaning the snake already tried and couldnt get it off, at tht point it is safe to gently help them out.

  • My ball python, i think shes going into shed. or preparing for shed..

her eyes have been milki- blue-ish for 2 days.shes till hasnt shed. why is that? - hmm. her temp is good. the humidity is high enough..

    so?

    any suggestions?

  • Awesome! My baby ball python is about to go into her first shed in her new home. Hope I can catch her in the act haha! Also hope it goes as well as it did in the video :-)

  • ball pythons r awesome....i just dont like touching the sheded skin after mines r done shedding haha but nice snake n he sheds pretty good

  • Fantastic filming!

  • That was beautiful! I would love to watch my ball python shed and she is just about ready to!

  • when your snake sheds does he/she always shed in one piece. my ball python sheds in pieces. little pieces

  • Wow that was a pretty good shed. I bet that felt good for the snake

  • really good shed

  • thats rad!

  • Wow, that's a good shed.

  • the reason they yawn before they shed is to break the skin because they start shedding from their head

  • aww he yawned lol

ball/royal pythons are soooo cute :D

    x

  • at first it looked kinda retarded.....ive never seen a snake shed before.

  • very cool video 5*

  • the music's cool dude! but come on, that's just disgusting and gross man!

  • how is that gross?

  • Against the glass, intresting technique, haha. =3

  • Haha, also, i want a snake, im hopefully getting one soon. Wow, it makes me claustrophobic watching him tyring to get it of its head, i just want to reach in the video and pull it off for him! =3

  • 2thats the best shed ive ever seen of a ball python

  • yea man my python eyes was greyish an he had greyish marks on his skin an he was dull so i tought he was going blind or what not an was on the verge of going to the vet...then i was looking at a youtube an this dude said that the wood i had him on was toxin.. but he was just shedding but his shedding was as cool as this one lol

  • wow nice snake mine has shed once and she's about 7 months old it was bad:(

anyway :great video great snake great choice of song overall awsomeness rating (beep beep beep) CHUCK NORRIS!!! "the best a vid can get" lol

  • aw I've had a ball python for about 7 or 8 months now and she's shed twice, and is really dull looking (color wise) and eyes are really grey so I'm guessing she's in the process of shedding now. I never knew they had to do so much work, i thought it just shed off there face and they just slithered out of it aha.

  • my ball pythons eyes have turned cloudy blue but his belly hasnt turned pink yet...can someone tell me if he is gonna shed or the eye colour something else?...his skin does look a little dull

  • pause at 0:36 its yawning!!COOL SNAKE!!!

  • how do i tell when my ball python is about to shed her eyes are blueish white right now how much longer entil she sheds this is the first time she has shed ive only had her for a mounth but yeah how much longer?

  • The eyes will turn back to normal again soon, and then from that time, it should be less than 48 hours

  • there back to normal now and this is the second day there back to normal she has beed sleeping for like a week straight with out changing hidespots or anything and now like i said her eyes are not blueish whiteish anymore do you think she will shed tonight? or 2maro>?

  • Yes I believe so..

you can help her out, by simply giving her a bath in luke warm, NOT WARM, water for a few minutes.

This will soften the skin, and she can slide right out, and shed in one piece

  • oh okay sounds good i think im gonna give her a bath and then put her back into her cage thanks

  • yo mines eyes hav been sheeding for over 2 weeks and his heads barely shedding. the humidities fine tho. what the fucks goin on

  • beautiful colors :)

  • pastel ball?

  • nope, just a normal

  • How big is he?

  • that was beautiful, thanks for posting it, looks like alot of work.. i love the look after a shed...my ball poops in her shed. makes it difficult to keep them.

Hopefully I'll post it up here along with his first feed lol

  • look how shiny

  • my ball pyton name is nipple

it has dots on hi :)

  • very nice video

  • oh wait! nvm, it just scrapes its head on something to get it to start coming off....i guess, 5/5 ;P

  • thats correct, scrapes it of both the upper and lower lips and then it just slides right out of it

  • so wat does it do to get it off the skin head-first? *plz reply anyone*

  • whats the song called

  • castaway!

  • im getting mine in 2 days!!!! from riversidereptilebreeders

  • wow that was 4 months ago!

  • ignore my user name its my little brothers is it bad to touch a ball python while its shedding

  • No but if your trying to help it shed just let it shed on it's own so you don't pop off any scales on the snake.

  • its not "bad" but its just one of things you dont do. You wouldnt want to have someone mess with you if you were trying to do something.

  • yes it disturbs them

  • your ball python is beautifal im getting 1 immediatly

  • now that's wnat I call a perfect shed!

    You're ball is absolutely gorgeous!

  • hey nice ball python i has one about 3 ft =)he eats a rat a week XD

  • how do you keep the humidity at perfect level?

  • I live in south africa, our humidity is almost perfect, but adding an extra water bowl should do the trick

  • thanks

  • probably feels good when snakes shed huh?

  • thank you

  • i have a question on shedding my ball python has a blue tint on his head and he is yanwning alot would that be due to shedding

  • yes most probably bathe him in luke warm water for 30 minutes daily until he sheds

  • cool, i just got my ball last week and he's in blue at the moment :) so hopefully *fingers crossed* soon! :D

  • That's really cool.

  • great vid

  • thats cool ! cant wait till mine does lol

  • How long does it usually take for a snake this big?

  • lets say its about 10 minutes

  • nice colouration

  • My ball is shedding. He always goes and just hides for 3 days straight then poof he is out and new bright skin. I have a Pastel. Mine poops everytime he sheds as well. Is that normal?

  • How come they say not to peel the skin off a snake when its shedding?...urs kinda looked at u like "HELLO!!!! HELP!!!!"

  • Because if there's a piece of skin not quite ready to come off and you peel it back, you can tear the new skin. If a snake needs assisting it's best to slowly 'pet' the old skin off using warm water. If sheds are flakey, then you need to increase the humidity.

  • no, not at all

  • Nice Video I have a corn snake and i never got to see him shed. Thank

  • do you know if it hurts to shed skin fot them?

  • yeah i know.

it doesn't hurt at all, unless they're really dehydrated/dry

  • i got a baby maurray darling python, i think he starting to shed for first time, he about 50cm long and maybe max thinkness of 3cm. He has been acting different lately, like hanging off his branch in weird position, he's realy active, once he stayed in one position for about 8 hours. but now im looking at him, his kind of wrapped around his branch and his lips makeby peeling skin. • how old is he now

  • 10 months

  • sweet

  • my ball wouldnt shedd his head i had to do it myself

  • yours try eating its skin? o.o; my brothers snake tries to eat its skin when it sheds >.>????

  • how did you make it shed so good?
