  • It was very obvious that something was wrong with Ali before the holmes fight.

    Its kinda sad to watch!!!

  • Ali should have gave it up but no and then later in life look what happened to him too many blows to the head. He retired with two more losses. Sad and not the greatest of all time.

  • I wish Ali did destroy him. But to be fair, Holmes was a great champion would great heart and skill, he most likely is in the top 10 of all time greats. To me he is in the top 5, but there is no way on earth, that Holmes would have beaten Muhammad in his true prime in 1967. Ali would do the same thing to Holmes against what he did to Williams. Ali was a lot faster for Holmes, so he would have outsmarted it and outtimed him in any second of any round. Holmes didn't beat Ali, he beat an old man.

  • im so fast

  • hahaha he is sooo cooooooooll! I love this guy! btw. I am a big George Foreman Fan.

  • @Will84ABA i am ali fan but forman is second favorite

  • holmes was awesome, lets be honest.shame to see ali like this

  • sad to see how Ali end his career

  • I wish people would quit confusing Ali's severe brain trauma with parkinson's disease.Ali's fight Dr. Ferdie Pacheco knows exactly whats wrong with Muhammad. He's stated several times that Ali shows 'symtoms' of Parkinsons caused by Brain Damage due to severe & excessive blows to the head.

  • It is known that Ali failed pre-fight medical reflex tests. People were paid off. The nation of Islam who Ali was connected to, pushed him to fight on when he had nothing left. He was in the ring with devastating punchers. The Frazier wars took a lot from both Ali and Joe. Ali should have quit after the Shavers fight--perhaps even after the 3rd Norton fight. In his prime and even the best of his return after exile--Ali easily avoids those bombs Shavers threw. Sad to have seen this.

  • Yikes, How could they let Ali fight on? Dundee, where were you? You just wanted another payday? No way Ali should have been allowed to fight, his speech is horrible here. Any man with a heart would have said they wanted no part of Ali fighting Holmes...but, the greedy leeches couldn't have cared less...I hope Dundee feels real shitty about it now.

  • @blite13 Angelo died last week & he probably should've died in prison for contributing to the pre-meditated murder of Ali's brain.Ali's fight Dr Ferdie Pacheco is the only person in the Ali camp who gave a damn about Muhammad's welfare & pleaded with him many times to retire. He never took a dime for his services either he just loved & respected Muhammad.

  • @hunkallgood73 fuck you. ali chose to put ali in the ring, dont blame whitey for that you fucking jew. lmao. stfu.

  • @AntiFeminaziMale I see you have brain damage too. Why do ppl like you ,who are chicken shits in real life, always want to curse & start arguments on here??? I fell sorry for your mother pal

  • Even looking at Ali speak isn't the same,it's just like he was a different man at this point. It always makes me sad to see just how furious and different he was trying to hang on to his glory days. Ali Bomaye ;c!

  • prime ali 64-67 would own holmes any day of the week

  • Ali's biggest mistake was to return to boxing after he got parkinsons already. All people know for fact that Ali would have whopped Holmes and crushed him if he was not sick. The same Larry Holmes was beaten, humiliated, and then knocked out by Mike Tyson very easily. Ali's days will be remembered forever while no one really cares for Larry. The funniest thing is that Larry still thinks that he had beaten Ali lol.

  • @HussamStands

    Good point.

  • @HussamStands I disagree about your Larry Holmes comment. Larry never got his just due until after he was beaten and retired. Everyone hated him they even accused him of copying Ali. He was a great boxer and had the best jab in heavyweight history. He was hated so much that they robbed him of getting close to Rocky Marciano's record

  • @HussamStands You must have never seen Holmes crying after the fight, Holmes knew that wasn't the same Ali.

  • that shit was sad... that man was old as hell and obviously sick

  • lol wwf?

  • I dont get boxers really. When you reach a certain age you really cant match a fit 22 year old. Common sense. It's simple as that. Look at all the greats how they were massacred in their last fights. Ali, Holmes, Tyson and so forth. It's sad really.

  • ali started looking sick about 1978 but he looks fucking terrible here man

  • lol ali knew he had no chance. he was just selling the fight.

  • Young Ali...greatness....OLd Ali....ordinary, and took an ass whooping...Same thing happened to Larry when he fought as 38 a young 22 year old Tyson, time catches up to us all.

  • Man, Ali was already showing signs of mental decline. What a foolish decision for him to fight Holmes.

  • A younger Ali would beat every one of the supposedly great boxers after toying with them to ammuse everyone...........the man was and remains the greatest fighter/athlete of all times.

  • you can tell Ali was messed up in this video. The guy stayed around to long them Frazier fights were wars.

  • Ali was the most crooked fixed boxing winner in history. Media draft dodger darling.

  • Even Ron Lyle was killing him in the first half of the match they had in Las Vegas in 1975.

  • Norton was robbed of 2 fight wins by the judges. Frazier was robbed of the second match win by the judges. Chuvalo was robbed in 1966 by the Mafia scum paid off judges against him. Foreman was robbed of an earlier match shot at this chicken shit big mouth. Foreman would have destroyed Ali had he fought him in January 1973 instead of Frazier.

  • @IamKurdSon your a fucking retard ali was the greatest ever no boxer will ever be better than him

  • i like and dislike ali, he made a career of disrespecting other fighters not very nice, and i dont see how arrogance and verbal abuse could be seen as great

  • fuck ali, i hate that motherfucker so much.

R.I.P Smokin' Joe Frazier, truly, the greatest

  • Ali was more hype than Tyson. Did you see Tyson talking shit about any of his fighters? Or anyone for that matter? No... yet everyone loves Ali? People hate on Tyson, and it's ok. Ali was great, but not greatest ever. Tyson was greatest boxer ever... best trainer, and 1988-1990 Ali would not even wanna fight Tyson. No matter what year Ali is in.

  • @MrLakerman89 tyson had the best trainer but he wouldnt be able to beat ali, tyson himself says ali is the greatest ever ali wasnt even knocked over by sheares so how could tyson knock him over, plus sugar ray robinson is the greatest fighter ever p4p

  • @MrLakerman89 Uh, 1988-1990? You kidding? That was when he fired Rooney and began his decline, look at the first Frank Bruno fight, he was awfull in that fight, and was nearly knocked out. 1987 Tyson was the best Tyson there was, but he always had problems against tall fighters, look at bonecrusher Smith and Buster Douglas. Teddy Atlas said once, that a great fighter could fight anywhere and at anytime and still win. Tyson can not be considered the geatest in this regard. Tyson = great potential

  • Who made screwed the CorMega beat up like that??? NICE!!!!!!! Can i get the download???????

  • @ProtaJ

I made that back around 05... Unfortunately, lost it in my old PC. Need to do it over!

  • @hookercut Yo fam, that joint was fire!! Yea, you DEF need to do that joint over.....#RESPECT

  • Even though Ali, took a whopping, from Holmes. He is showing here that he has a lot more class than Larry Holmes.

It's not even a discussion that a 67 Ali would demolish Larry Holmes in 3 rounds.

The 74 Ali against Foreman, was smarter and would probably achieve the same thing, maybe a 4 rounds knockout.

  • The doctor that told Ali he was ok to fight should be hanged and so should the mosquitos around him

  • ali may of knew what he had but like a great fighter does he doesn't let that stop him he fought until his peek and with him and marciano they will always be the greatest in my eyes alot better then these thugs in boxing just throwing swings at each other.may boxing maybe reach it's roots again someday.

  • "I'M THREE TIME CHAMP" **holds up four fingers**. damn shame they let ali fight and he can't even hold up the correct amount of fingers

  • @SoLow6x i think you need your eyes checked. You should consider going to see a doctor.

  • @SoLow6x Its number of fingers not amount of fingers. Jesus christ, if you are trying to insult someone by making a joke at least do it correctly. Although i do find it quite funny even though he still put down 1 finger meaning he noticed the mistake.

  • @joshuapratt6 get a life buddy. Thanks for patrolling youtube comments though. Good job. You make this a safer site. Don't forget to use commas, apostrophes, and uppercase your I buddy.

  • @SoLow6x Lol get a life? Where did you get that from google? hehehe idiot this is not about punctuation the mistake you made was with the word you used to describe the incident, that is far worse. This is not an essay either so nice try on claiming i should use capital i. You make me laugh :). Stick to eating your donuts not to grammar. There is no future for you in improving your grammar. Your stupidity has already been proven. Definition of twat=SoLow6x.

  • @joshuapratt6 "Definition of twat=SoLow6x". Damn you got me with that one. Stick to eating my donuts? Ouch. When you come back at someone, you sure pull out all the stops. You win, you win.

  • @SoLow6x No man you don't get it your name defines your level of intelligence. Solow6x=low intelligence meaning your intelligence is so low even though it has been multiplied 6 and a number added from 0-9 as it is x so just fuck off. You failed just like your moms abortion illiterate speechless moron. Next time you try to act 'smart' keep a copy of insults you can chose in your little fucking notebook included in your happy meal you got as a prize for having anal sex with your father.

  • @joshuapratt6 let it go buddy. move on

  • @SoLow6x whats wrong? you failed to succeed this time? Pfft for god sake you must of been arguing with retards in the past to win. hehehe.

  • @joshuapratt6 oh so this is a competition to you? What a loser. You probably go around youtube and look for arguments right? I hope you are under 12 years old, because you are extremely immature. and i'm guessing you wont quit until you get the last word in right? lol

  • @SoLow6x Mad much? lol idiotic cunt can't seem to succeed in acting "tough" good luck next time. Go argue with a person equivalent to your intelligence, meaning a retard. Mr.durr durp. Also i do not need to start arguments to increase my self confidence by putting others down and feel proud of myself unlike someone here who is poor, has not had a proper education, not physically fit just a dumb idiot who has a shitload of donuts everyday and insecure about himself and has temper problems.

  • Of course Ali was past prime, but I'll also say I can't (nor can u say) with definitiveness that prime Ali (who struggled with Norton, Frazier and others) would beat a prime Larry Holmes. Would go distance most likely, but it would b close. Larry Holmes was VERY good for those who don't remember. Bigger, stronger, best jab perhps ever.

  • @aitraining You are confused. A Prime Muhammad Ali never took on Ken Norton or Joe Frazier. That was a past prime Ali. His prime was between 65-67 and if those assholes didn't prevent him from fighting we would have seen Ali's true prime. he DOMINATED everybody in boxing in 67. There was nobody left for him to fight anymore that they actually wanted Ali to fight a baketballl player.. Ali would annihilate Larry Holmes in his prime. Ali had better footwork, reflexes, speed and he was a lot smarter

  • Comment removed

  • ali lost to holmes just because of his parkinsons disease.

  • 1:18 freaking hillariouss hahahahah

Muhammed Ali was truly a flamboyant, charmismatic and honorable champion..

The only thing that did NOT seperate Ali from ordinary champions and boxers, is that unfortunately, he went on way too long..

  • Great actor :)

  • lol. ali was lucky holmes respected the shit out of him, or else he wouldve been mudered, he looked slow as shit here, lol

  • Who gave him a boxing licence to fight Homes has a lot to answer for.

  • wow you can defininately see the early stages of parkinsons in ali then

  • Fuck all you peice of young shits disrespecting the greatest boxer ever and the #3 by espn top athlete of the century. Ali was old and suffering from parkinsons disease already at this point so fuck all you clowns disrespectin Ali. Ali would of wrecked holmes world if they both were in their primes

  • @boxingfan510 Ali never would've beat Holmes. Holmes was a sharper, faster version of Ali with better defense and a much better jab.

  • @bigmoney749 YOu dont know anything. Holmes was not faster. 67 Ali would destroy holmes

  • @boxingfan510 people just like watching big mouths get beat up dude. That's the crappy thing about your "prime" it only lasts a little while then you get your ass whooped and look foolish doing it. Roy jones jr is going through that right now.

  • @boxingfan510 Old? He was 38 years. Old for a boxer, yes, but from this footage he looks and sounds like he's a grumpy 72 year old. If you're brilliant you most also be humble, which Ali never was. The way he made fun of Joe Frazier and called him a monkey makes me lose all respect for this man. And where is his judgement and common sense at this point? A first-class boxer, yes, but as a person he was a jackass.

  • @GhoztProtokol Ali was selling the fights when he said that shit about his opponents. He was always a sweet and decent man. It just shows you know nothing. Sometimes he did go too far but he gave credit where it was due. Lose respect for a guy you know nothing about?

  • @muclesmarinara From your logic, who knows anything about anyone? True, I don't know the brand of his underwear or the name of his cousins, but I do know that I don't respect people who make fun of other people because of the way they look. And I don't care much for people with an ego so overblown that they don't recognize their own limits. Normal pre-fight trash talk, fine, but why did Ali have to deal out low-blows? Why don't you who seem to know his inner thoughts and desires enlighten us.

  • @muclesmarinara Ali fought some great fighters right? Foreman,Norton,Frazier,Ron Lyle,Shavers etc

He made up nicknames for all of them. He also respected each one of them and knew that they were dangerous. No one was better at hyping a fight than Ali. Read his autobiography for his inner thoughts and you'll see that he is/was a caring good person. Did he go too far sometimes? Yes and he is the first person to admit it. He ruined his potential friendship with Joe Frazier but he was at his funeral

  • @muclesmarinara I assume this is directed to me. I have always admired stars that despite all their fame and fortune can remain modest. Ali was no doubt one of the best ever in the ring, but I think his success got the best of him. At least that's the impression I have of the man, but then again, I'm far from being an expert on Ali.

  • @GhoztProtokol Some fighters have the ability to talk about how much they love and respect their opponent, shake their hand, hug them and then go into the ring and hurt them. Ali did not have that ability. I truly believe that Ali was such a great person that in order to box someone in his own mind he had to hate them. Hating them was the only way he could go in there and beat them.

  • @JohnnyBoyCali I can accept the logic in this.

  • @GhoztProtokol Honestly, you've been probably just read a few comments on youtube and saw one or two wrong video's. Probably short ones too. Ali was very humble. His arrogance was an act, to show to his people that the can be confident and proud, as black man, because the heavyweight champion of the world, was. And with Frazier, he was and is sorry about that. He told that multiple times. They both had respect for one another, enough video's that show that. A great boxer, but a greater human.

  • @boxingfan510 WHO THE HELL DO YOU SEE ON THIS VIDEO DISRESPECTING HIM!?!

  • He had already parkinson before his fight against spinks and he won the fight unonymous though

  • Sounds like Charles Barkley!

  • WHAT A CLOWN.

  • ali is slurring his speech he should have never fought holmes

  • My god - Ali was really ill by this point - he had to use diuretics to lose weight to just to like half in shape - his doctor ferdie pacheco walked out on him because he knew Ali was showing serious signs of dementia - later diagnosed as Parkinsons .

a sad sad way for the finestathlete inhistory to go out .

  • At that point, Ali wasn't even close to his prime, just look at this interview. He has no clue what's going on.

  • "...disturbingly unruly crowd..."

  • man all u faggots that hate ali are dumb,Ali is the greatest of all time

  • @MrCollypop He's shit.

  • he ate his words. poor bastard.

  • Brilliant sportsman who became the victim of a rotten sport

  • I'm glad Ali got his ass kicked in this fight , he's over rated by far.

  • @JigglesJingle your obviosly a complete retard

  • You fail at trolling

  • @paygi110709 Too bad I'm honest. Ali was trash in this fight, and the most over-rated athlete that ever lived.

  • @JigglesJingle you can't be serious...

  • @JWCFIGHTFAN He was shit compared to alot of prize fighters in their primes. They only crown him because of the guilt factor, and his stance on Vietnam. Not to mention , every black there is just loves the fact that he was so big and defied the "uncle tom white view" on things. He's by far over rated.

  • @JigglesJingle LoL, what fighters was he shit compared to?

  • @JigglesJingle

You fucking disrespectful twat! he beat the very best of any era of fighters and was just to old to fight at this point of his life. You sir are one stupid fool

  • Looking at the way he looks and was talking, they never should have let him fight again. I could tell right Parkinsons was already setting in. Much Luv to Ali

  • Even Parkinson's couldn't stop Ali. 'Nuff said.

  • he was fine when he fought spinks the second time. Looked the same as when he fought frazier the third time. I reckon he had something wrong with him here that he may not of realized. It was wrong that his trainers let him fight!!!

  • Holy shit. When he said "I'm a 3 time champ" and held up 4 fingers, then took a second to fold his pinky down to make it 3. That says it all right there. That was no mistake. His body just wasn't there anymore.

  • Comment removed

  • His speech already sounds slow here, that fight should've never been sanctioned.

And it wouldn't even have been a fight if Ali was in his prime, Holmes wouldn't have touched him.

  • I guess he had parkinsons when he fought holmes

  • @bandosnoob15 he did. He was also low in some vitamins due to a bad diet and got tired in the first round, he said. Legend. He actually did beat Holmes, when Holmes said he was better than Ali when they were sparring when Holmes was still a kid.

  • Look at his face, he is not the same =/ =(

    He shouldn't fight this fight

  • I love Ali and to see this last fight makes me feel sad, but for those who think that Ali would just handle and pwn Larry Holmes, prime for prime are stupid.

Larry would give Ali one of his toughest fights, and although I believe that Ali would win, Larry would give him a serious run for his money.

  • Ali was already completely fucked years before the fight. Just look at his eyes in this interview...

  • ali and holmes fight should never of happen ali parkinsons illness had already started to affect hes speach and movement don king has a lot to answer for but ali will always be the greatest in every bodys eyes were as king will always be hated buy true boxing fans ....

  • I'm glad that tyson avenged ali

  • Ali is my favorite but this is just disgraceful that people around Ali would allow this, he already had early symptoms of Parkinsons disease at this point, Howard Cosell says "look at yourself are you prepared" Howard knew he wasn't all there it is just sad Ali couldn't quit and the vultures around him did nothing to stop it.

  • @markenriquez71 It was the Muslims. They took tons of Money from him and they didn't want him to stop fighting. They never wanted him in the first place. This was a situation, just like Don King and Mike Tyson. Older, wiser people, grab a young, wealthy Champion, then put thoughts into his head. They took Ali's head, like King took Tyson's head. And both were stripped of their money. Damn shame.

  • Comment removed

  • You could see by watching just the interview that Ali wasn't the same man once was. Why they allowed him to fight i don't know.

  • LOL, a big mouth. The sucker didn't give Holmes a title shot when he deserved one. Now he had to trash talk and attention seek to get a title shot from Holmes coz he's broke and needs the money

  • I'm only watching half of this. Hate to see clips of the Holmes fight. Its too sad and wrong. Just seeing the interviews, I can't believe he was allowed to fight.

Boxing is brutal but as a young man he managed to make it look graceful. He was and is something truly special.

  • hey guys was this after his loss to holmes? in 1980 i think?

  • /watch?v=Z3iT_abbD7Y

  • YOU SOUND stupid he wouldn't be muhammad ali with no nation of islam he wouldnt be as smart he was taught by a master teacher

  • ali already looked sick

  • Him joining the Nation of Islam makes me have ZERO respect for him... The shit he said in the 60's and early 70's makes me sick..

  • @imax1971 SHUT UP

  • @code187G Why, the truth hurts?

  • ali was already sick with parkinson here

  • Notice Ali's mustache? Jeff Sims made him grow that...

  • all talk no action he shud of stoped fighting when henry copper knockd him sparko! herny cooper wud have won that fight but the bell save clay ass bk den.

  • you can see that ali, is punch drunk here.

  • The Referee that reffed this fight killed himself after the Mancini and Kim match.

  • @MobHeataEnt You're right! Richard Green. He reffed one more fight afterwards I think. Which I saw no reason, DURING the Mancini Kim fight, why he should have stopped it. After the fight you look back and say yeah, it should have been stopped but the signs during the fight weren't there. Green did everything any other ref would have done. Which makes me wonder if that fight actually had anything to do with his suicide. Some say yes. Some aren't so sure.

  • Usually he's just putting on a show, being an entertainer when he says stuff like this... But this time woah... Ali actually looked mad... why was he so pissed off? He was tripping... sweating and shit already just from watching... damn... poor ali

he just wanted to prove the doubters wrong again like Jordan back on the Wizards, but atleast Jordan killed shit with the Wizards... poor ali

  • By today's standard he's actually 4 time champion. He's 4-time WBA champion, if you wanna get technical about it. But three time legitimate champion. Who the hell is ever gonna top that??

  • You can deff. tell that he is in his early stages of disease.

  • It's sad seeing Ali like this. Damn.

  • poeple love to see a great man fall.

  • @samoanking123 I can tell you right now I didn't love it, tears were in my eyes watching ali get hurt so badly, I could barely hold them back.

  • Mayweather is a lot like Ali the only difference is Mayweather doesn't fight anyone

  • aww damn ali the best of all times regardless

  • i never seen ali like this. his voice seems different. Yep he looks kinda lighter than what he was walking around at in 1980. he says hes 230 lbs. His face looks young but he was only 38 but u can tell he is ill. He has a vacant almost demented look in his face and although he is as entertaining as ever and its true if it was 1977 or 78 he would have destroyed holmes but its sad he lost. god bless him he is the number 1 HW

  • A young Ali would have beat Larry Holmes no problem.

  • @bigmace1000 oh of course

  • @bigmace1000 lol...yeah yeah...whatever bitch

  • @bigmace1000 he did, when holmes got cocky as a sparring partner.

  • @carmodifire

Yeah Holmes talked about it in this interview I watched he was knocked down and everything in sparring.

  • @bigmace1000 Ohhhh he'd have problems......

  • @bigmace1000 he would have beat him...but with a lot of problems

  • he could have been a great ambassador of the world a true american hero

  • Lol I wonder what he was like after the fight.

  • Sad fight. Saddest fight of the century.

Ali was 39 and Holmes was 30. It;s obvious who'd win. Ali was ageing and heading towards Parkisons. If Ali'd been younger, the match would definitely be in his favour.

  • @truebeliever786 38 and 32. Get your facts straight. Holmes was more active, in better shape and obviously Parkinson's had set in not long after the Spinks fight for Ali...

  • Yeah true.

Poor Ali. Plus Holmes is a really damn skilled boxer.

  • @truebeliever786 Holmes is skilled by Ali was way ahead of his prime. Ali is the greatest, and yes to all your packiwow dick riding kids I said Ali is the greatest not Packiwow.

  • @MobHeataEnt Yeah true.

  • i wonder why he was sweating like that? it must be hot in there. lol

  • he has the parkinson in this conversation.. look how he talks. :(:(:(

  • Man, u can tell this is some of the 1st symptoms of Ali's physical downfall...Fighting Holmes, Berbick & Spinks just set off his Disease for good. It is too sad. 'FATHERTIME'. He doesnt even sound the same

  • This was tough to watch. Ali should have retired for good in the mid-1970s. The lack of clarity and dazed look in his eyes was testimony to the fact something was going horribly wrong for him neurologically. He was magic to watch in his prime, though!

  • there's nothing worse than a has been trying to be a better bee in a bee hive full of bigger bees,

  • Ali's mouth obviously wrote a check his body couldn't cash. What the hell was he thinking? Hell, Ali didn't look at all spectacular against that bum Leon Spinks. It took Ali THIRTY ROUNDS to beat Spinks. A man Holmes later KO-ed in 3 rounds.

  • @FrankenFraud Give Ali a break, man. 3 fights against Frazier. Hell, one fight against Frazier is enough to send someone to the morgue. Three against Norton, Foreman...not to mention the pounding in training.

  • His speach was seriously slured at this stage. I know they ran a battery of nurological tests at the Mayo clinic but for gods' sake Ive only got my grade 11 and I could tell you the man should'nt have been liscensed to box.I guess it's the old money talks bullshit walks scenario.

  • Haha. Yeah, one of the most charismatic athletes ever.
