I've known 4 sets of twins who were gay. Maybe your brother used you as a lab rat to see how people would react so he could test the waters. You started to know because of your crush. Maybe your brother didn't find someone he liked, so he didn't ever think about it and has instead repressed it. After what he did, he may feel bad about coming out if he's gay. Maybe it'd be good to go out of your way and let him know that you forgive him so that it makes it easier for him to come out to you.

If you're not ready for everyone to know, don't tell anyone. It's just difficult to tell who is trustworthy these days, glad I didn't have that problem though. Once I came to terms with my sexuality, I just didn't care who found out. I think being outed before you're ready can have extremely negative effects.

I think effeminate guys tend to have it a little tougher. The bullying is always worse and the taunts always more vicious. Having a straight appearance probably helped you with your straight male friends accepting you. Kids are just narrow minded that way. And whether you're straight acting or not, accept that people live in fear no matter what. They are likely fearful finding out you're gay, as much as you are telling them. I applaud you for having the courage. You're a great role model.

I really do not think that behavior was/is his intention. This young man has a really inspirational message to share based on what he has and is learning. Enough with the death threats and suicide wishes towards others. I really do not think that behavior was/is his intention. If someone is commenting with words that are taken as a threat, you "can" report their id to YouTube and they will review all their comments seeing what actions to take. Yes, they can open a new account, but it keeps them busy. :-)

In some cultures all young men go through a gay phase that is acceptable in the culture they come from. Throughout the world during adolescence, having gay experiences is extremely common. Many grow out of it. Some do not. I would not label myself until at least 25 years of age. Especially in your case, because I could not detect any so called gay mannerisms. You are good looking and you will attract sexual attention based on that alone. Look after yourself.

Very inspiring. For some reason pretty much everyone I know comes out saying theyre bisexual before they say theyre gay. Idk why?
