The survivers from Atlantis buildt the pyramids. Thousands of years before the egyptians. Can you plz find a historian who can show how you pull a 150 ton stonblock without using wheels. And you should check out the water erodition on the sphinx. When was the last flood around the pyramid?
hey there, thanks soo much for the helpful information, im planning on attending AUC in spring 09, and i would also like to get in touch with u, just to know the female perspective on cairo. im also not sure if its better/ safer to live off campus or in the on campus dorms. have any advice ?? :-D
Nice tour you had in your orientation and nice ones you already --by now- had in your classes. Maybe you should add visiting rural Masr Eladema (rural Old Cairo) to your tours.
anne i want to go stay in egypt n learn arabic pleas ei would like to get intouch wid u n get som information on how u did it cos being a girl im a bit scare dplease get intouch please
OH GOD. I have to know all about your experience as a female American. Everything else just seems to be by men, which gets me nowhere. I've wanted to go to Egypt ever since I was probably seven or eight, and I found out about AUC through the Emory Website. I think I want to take Arabic Studies at AUC, but I have no idea what the country experience is like from the female point of view. So, anyway, blabbering on, thank you so much for posting these. Tell me more!
when I say "be careful with the camera", I mean, it's illegal to film some areas of Egypt. Not worried about the camera, worried about getting arrested/etc.
what kinda of nonsense is that ...it's not illegal to film any area in or around cairo that i know of non the less el-ain el-sokhna or any other tourist site an if i'm wrong please list some areas where people aren't allowed to use camcorders !!...an getting arrested ..for filming ...come on ..!!
No they didnt.

Ok guys,
when I say "be careful with the camera", I mean, it's illegal to film some areas of Egypt. Not worried about the camera, worried about getting arrested/etc.
