heheh im a beginning Empath i feel what my folks feel if my moms upset or hurting i hurt 20 x worse if my dads angry or annoyed im annoyed 10 x worse if my brother is angry i get 5 x angry

i kinda agree with emmanuel27noriega. empathy isn't something u develop. i'm an empath too, and i think that everyone has something similar to empahty, but it isn't empathy. you're either born with it, or not. you can't acquire it other wise. but idk, if its a gift or a curse. to me, my empathy is both, but more of a gift.

Everyone has empathy and can develope it further. It is one of the differences between man and animal. The more sensitive you are the higher degree of empathy you can feel.

How can anyone really explain empathy? It's just something we know. Could it be a higher level of interpreting what we sense from others via sight, sound etc. or is it something beyond the natural, something beyond our current understanding of this "realm" of "existence?"

Uhm...ok...he is a bit off. Being an empath myself, empathy is the ability one has to sense what others feel, to intuit good and evil, and to make someone feel a certain emotion. You're either born with it or not, no person can become an empath, the only thing you can gain is the first stage, the ability to know what someone is feeling, not feeling just knowing. And well uhm...he's kind of on the right tract but not really...
