  • It's very sad that Americans have raped their land so much that most all native animals have been driven to live to accomodate us,and we don't try to understand them---well,most don't--we use them for sport.

    The Chinese has a culture as old as dirt (literally...) and have not raped their land and their streams such as we Americans have, and they produce such beautiful things...stories....songs,thei­r folk music, and their ability to communicate so closely with animals.

    It's a damned shame.

  • @blunklaura Look up the NYtimes article "In China, Pollution Worsens Despite New Efforts". Also, China has a horrible reputation of its treatment of animals both domesticated and wild. Laura, you are obviously disillusioned with the mystique of the Chinese culture because while the United States has its environmental issues, we are light years ahead of China when it comes to the preservation of our natural environment.
