  • Well, as you alrdy said, you're striking does suck indeed. So it was a good coice to go to the ground? you didnt relie to much on ground game, ur good at it, so then take advantage of it. Very nice first fight :)

  • Oh yeah does anybody know how to find a fight contractor or w/e? I want to start amateur fighting but have no idea who to call or where to find out info

  • @tktaz51 if your in a boxing/mma/bjj gym, typically they can find you fights

  • why were you "relying too much" on your ground game? I personally think stick to what your good at, like anderson silva his game is standing he always tries to stand up instead of going to the ground

  • 3:46 .... WTF. you were passing his guard and they stood you up? this ref doesnt know when and when not too stand it up... lawl fail by ref...

  • @pyro0049 the round ended.

  • very nice

  • I am a BJJ Blue belt going for my purple belt by the end of the year. I came 4th and 2nd in my wrestling city championships. I am a Taekwondo blue blue done boxing for a year and a half and I am a three time muay thai city champion. and I have compeated in 10 amuter MMA on an indian reserve called kanawake,Montreal, florida and in brazil. and by the way im 15 going on16 Dec.23

  • Nice fight man, u two were a good match.

  • what state is this? I fight in nc, amy. and we dont where any headgear or any pads besides the gloves.

  • Beginner level all around. Beginner's striking, beginner's takedowns and groundwork. However, you DO NOT suck. Good match. How long have you been training total at the time of the match?

  • i have to train for 4 years before i can fight in a actual match cuz in michigan u have to be 18 to fight in the mma but u can be 14 and train till ur 18 ive spared and everything but im doin brazilian jiu jitsu and mauy thai maybe judo idk ive jus started trainin 3 months ago

  • Ground game is good. Stand game is yet to be desired. It might just be me, but it seems like about halfway into it you two were both really winded. Make sure you remember in through the nose and out through the mouth at all times.

  • nice fight man your solid bro...judo is good and you have a solid ground game

    5* preformance man

  • id be pissed if they stood me up if i was in mount....thats one thing about amateur thats bs...i understand they want it to be exciting but its not the fighters fault the audience doesnt understand the ground game...i can understand guard and maybe half guard but full mount is rediculous

  • your grappling is good, judo is very good, you need to work on your standup more, try to work your jab and move around for a bit to get a more efficient takedown, juijitsui is solid, wrestling not bad, good work

  • Good Ground work! I'm surprised you didn't just take him out standing with the way your opponent was throwing hay makers with no regard for his own head!

  • Didn't think you could strike to the head in AMMA fights....

  • i thought in the amateurs you have to wear shin guards?etc

  • Nice choke and I love the Judo throws.

  • can you even get a rear naked choke down with those helmets?

  • yeah

  • Those "helmets" are on their heads, not their necks you muppet.

  • decent ground and judo but omg awful striking

  • wheres this at?

  • good job hey how old are you guys im 17 adn ive been traing since like last febuary but took a few months off for traing cuz of soccer. Now im back to training im jw how many months of traing do u think i should do. my stand up is good adn my MT (muay thai) and my groundwork is sucky but i can get around. when do u think i should fight? I LIKE THA VIDEO

  • good thing your wearing a headgear he wrecked you at 4:36 you proly woulda been wobblin a little bit lol but other than that good fight like the throws

  • gd ground work n take downs, poor stand up. but tht was gd!

  • very nice triangle but i truly loved the hip toss beauy, remember scramble!

  • Very nice arm triangle man! Really! You put up a good fight. Good luck to ya!

  • great fight m8, love the judo and jui-jitsu skills, brilliant arm triangle to finish!! how long had been training in martial arts before you had that fight? ive been training about a year in BJJ, Judo and Mauy Thai now and would love to think i cud have a Ammateur MMA fight one day... Im thinkin a Year or two, wot u think? cheers. steve

  • not bad but you have a LOT of training ahead of you

  • love the throw!

  • very nice my friend, very technical, always cool. congrats

  • good fight and nice ground work

  • i have that exact same headgear (red)

  • nice fight where can i find some fights in CA

  • Hey man, nice fight. Awesome throw!

For the arm-triangle, try sprawling out flat, then shuffling towards his head instead of leaning back. That will help you avoid getting swept.

    Awesome!

  • NIce submission, i love chokes, but never used that variant... its mostly guillotine or rear naked choke to me, when it comes to choice... nice fight though.

talking about imporving your striking... at the part when u both punched simultanously you should have tried to deliver a straight punch to his nose on the side where he tries to bring a heymaker (swing) :D

Nontheless, keep on training, that was hella good :)

  • Great throw at 2:21. Someone's been working their Judo :P

  • dat was a sick throw

  • i got my first cage fight on thge 11th im so fuckin scred eny advice?

  • head gear huh? we werent able to use knees or elbows to the head in my fight. good lookin cage and the place looks proffessional keep it up, and train like you have a 10 round fight!!!! its how you win early!!

  • Nice job with the triangle... ;)

  • That was a wicked submission. I love the arm triangle.

  • What was your opponent trained in? I couldn't figure it out... he looked like he has no idea how to grapple and his boxing was pathetic. It was like no one ever showed him how to throw a punch. Anyway, good win. Keep training.

  • how can i get into an amateur fight i've been training for awhile but only been 18 for a couple months so i couldnt before any suggestions?

  • how long were u in mma before the fight

  • about 6-7 months

  • @matt1214 i dont think u relied too much on grappling they stood up the fight way to fast

  • how long did u train until this fight

  • i took the fight on a day notice and didnt really train hardcore a few months previous thats why i look exhausted as hell throughout the fight

  • I liked it.These guys are the future of the UFC.Keep training.Big David

  • Nice arm triangle at the end!

Your grappling is good..but thats only 50% of the game..keep working on the striking!

  • try sweep singles...... double leg is overated.....when you double leg u run a risk of getting hit by the guys powerhand usually (his right) you also run a risk of getting guiltoned. look at the guys stand....left foot forward.... if you do a sweep single with your right arm you can get the leg very easily......and it is hard for him to hit you and almost impossible for a guilotine

  • ya i have noticed tht double legs make it easier for guys to pull guard and get the guillotine..ill look into the sweep singles for sure.. thanks

  • @deadafter2 the double is the way to go man I am a mma fighter with a wrestling background. You just have got to finsh it right in the cross mount. and if you do shoot a single its easy to hit a arm-bar but i guess wrestlerspride is just a wrestler.

  • your shots are bad man. you need to set them up better

  • ya i know i have trouble deelevating..still got lots to learn
