I don't condone Elizabeth Taylor's lifestyle and I never liked Michael Jackson because he certainly was a gay pedophile. I just can't agree with you that Elizabeth was ugly, fat, and talentless. And Keira Knightley is on the opposite side, if anything. She is most likely anorexic and might just die from her condition. That's not good, either.

Lauren Bacall smoked like a chimney until the mid-1980s. I'm surprised you didn't know that, have you seen any of her old films? Elizabeth taylor was diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer in October 1975 but it later turned out to be a misdiagnosis.

I have seen some of lauren bacall's movies but, since acting is acting, the fact that she is smoking on screen as part of her character does not necessarily mean she smoked in real life. There is a lot I don't know about the personal lives and choices of actors, especially when these have little or no bearing on their acting skills and talent. Regarding liz taylor's voice - you dislike it because it is inexpressive and flat, because it is a smoker's raspy voice or what?

Everybody smoked in the 1940s. I never liked a smoker's voice. If Richard Burton hadn't died from a brain haemorrhage then it would have been either lung cancer or emphysema.

Well he was a racist who thoroughly deserved his death after smoking 100 cigarettes a day and drinking up to four bottles of spirits. Marlon Brando will always be far better than Burton, a graduate of the Shouting School of "Acting".

why was he a racist? I'm sorry, I'm not very knowledgeable of the details of his life. IT's true that if you binge-drink and chain smoke you are digging your own grave and have nobody to blame but yourself. But again, why the sanctimonious acerbity of "he deserved his death"? I think richard burton beat brando in terms of sheer raw talent. Unfortunately, he wasted it,his career never really peaked and never realized his potential so brando's body of work appears more imposing than burton's.

I think he was superb in Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf and The Taming of the Shrew, to many a few.
His readings of Dylan Thomas's poetry are also beautiful.

Very true. I've seen PeterFirthFan commenting on videos of talented superstars like Audrey Hepburn and Mel Gibson. He jokes about Audrey Hepburn dying early from cancer and he even said he hopes that Mel Gibson dies from lung cancer. This guy always has terrible stuff to say and he really needs to get a life. I think he may hate every celeb except for Keira Knightley. I don't get how she is so much better than the rest, but PeterFirthFan seems to think she is.

You're clip was so beautiful. I am huge a fan of Taylor and Burton. I have even written an article about them for Uni. It was cool how your clip seemed to tell the story of both Liz/Dick, Antony/Cleo simultaneously. There seemed to be so much anguish in their faces. Unfortunately, I don't have the internet at home.
