I have not seen Stephen John Davis perform but listening to his voice in this recording i love his voice. I would love to know how he does the reprise/ all I ask of you and Wandering child and the final lair. I like the way he brings some of his own ideas into the songs by way of singing certain phrases. Please put more of him on. also any Scott Davies as well. perhaps they should split the pahntom parts as well and Stephen become alternate phantom like they do with the christines.

I personally think he is much better than David Shannon... and should be given the chance to be Phantom full-time, or at least phantom understudy!

@ThePixieBelle he IS an understudy now, though he's going to be a stanby for 2 months starting from september

@Becketts43 oh i thought Scott Davis was understudy...but yes i know he is standby phantom until November.

@Phantomgoast Davies is not better than David Shannon (vocally). I haven't seen Davies on stage but from recordings Shannon has the better voice in my opinion. At times I like SJD's sound better (Music of the Night was not Shannon's best song at all) but overall I think Shannon's got him beat. With that said, I don't think Shannon is that great of a Phantom anyway. He was a great Valjean though.
