EchoBuzz was doing a free voice mail service in 323, but looks like they are out of business.

I'm not aware of any currently available in your area, but all I did was a Google search.

I've have a Phone/fax line for years and refreshing the number every month can be a chore.

I'm on a couple of fax broadcast lists and receive faxes every month which takes care of that responsibility.

Try the Number for this travel agency and ask to be put on their "Hot deals" list and receive their faxes to take care of this monthly chore ... 1-877-714-1187

Another choice would be find other merchants using fax blasting and get on their list.

You are explaining a way to keep your K7 phone/fax line active even though you're not getting any calls on it yet. That's a creative solution I'd have to say.

I haven't found a free forwarding service for existing phone numbers either.

i've found that voxalot works with ipkall for a free number. i use that with voipbuster to make and receive calls for free. voxalot also has built in voicemail for free.
