good tutorial buttt fer my picture i actually found it easier to select the color range and fill with the wanted color. This is obviously for graphics though
isnt this unnecesary? why is the video dragging out so long? two years ago i quickly did this now i cant find out how and every video DRAGGGGS the fuck on. good god this is frustrating.
Man, I love you. Thank you so much for this. I only have PS CS and am a graphic designer and I totally forgot about how to mask. You were so thorough in this. Thank you so much!
thanks for the informative tutorial. will this work if the original was a black shirt and you needed to change it to a much lighter color (even white possibly)? if not, can you show me how?
I really approve of the depth you went to. I have a hard time fully understanding what the levels is all about. I've seen people painting out red edges to blue with a white brush. If anything I'd really appreciate more information on how this works. Working with light colours against light backgrounds seems to fail every time. This is the most thorough example I've seen so far but I still don't fully understand how it works. Thanks for the video.
can i do this on CS2....cause i try and when I put layer mask hide all I can't do nothing just apearr hand insted cursor and i cant do nothig....where I wrong
you did so much to acheeve so little... if i could make a video it wouldnt be 9 minuts.... I suggest not doing the darker gray and the levles... its Vary unnessisary. i dont mean this as a insult. just saying.
Try changing a white shirt to true red without adjusting the levels. The video is long because I am talking about a lot of stuff an explaining the process. I can change a shirt to red in less than a minute. The only part that takes time is making the mask perfect, which it must be if the photo is for a professional photographer, unless you don't mind getting fired.
Awe, thanks! This helps a lot but like you added, it will be time consuming as there is like 6 or so people in this photo. This video helped SO much. First of all, I never knew how to use the pen tool. I'm more of a play with it and figure it out than a read the directions type of person. When it comes to watching a video though, this made it very easy to understand. Really, thanks. :)

@k2dart07 It shouldn't be a problem so long as the original photo had enough lighting on the shirt.
